    Been using it for about six months now. I’m a newbie but Video Proc is taking me a new level. Yes, I have tons to learn about cutting and editing but I’m getting there. I have tried a few editing packages but Video Proc Vlogger is intuitive and easy to use and powerful. Their tutorials are excellent. Short and to the point

    It is a good thing you have a mouse highlighter on your computer. However, this video would have been much easier to follow, if you had also added a ripple effect when you clicked the mouse. Such addons are freely available. And also if you moved the mouse slowly so that one can follow it and NOT moved it around unnecessarily. But I think I will catch up after I watch your video a few times. Thanks Tomazs.

    @dogsofthewind Před 2 lety

    Hi! Great video! If you have recorded in 60fps and you bring it into your timeline which is set to 30fps, does it change your footage to 30fps? What I want to know is, when you slow it down, do you end up with a very low frame rate? In davinci resolve, you have to change the frame rate of a clip in the media pool before you drag it into the timeline. I only figured that out recently because I was wondering why I was ending up with a 12fps clip after changing it to 1/2 speed even though ot was recorded in 60fps or even 120fps.

    • @Tomasz.Nowacki
      @Tomasz.Nowacki  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey have you seen my in-depth tutorial on how to edit slow motion video ? I explain there 3 different ways how to do it in Davinci Resolve :)

    • @Tomasz.Nowacki
      @Tomasz.Nowacki  Před 2 lety +1

      I usually set up my timeline to 30 fps and dont change the clips , later on I decide if i need particular one for slowmo or not but just vecause it tells u its veing played in 12 fps or sth doesnt mean it is i guess ... lol ^^ cause its still smooth , if you really were to olay sth in 12 fps you would have a very jittery and u watchable video more like a slide of seperste photos every now and then

    • @dogsofthewind
      @dogsofthewind Před 2 lety

      @@Tomasz.Nowacki thank you so much! I have been wondering about it! I will definitely have a look at your slow motion tutorial! Is the same basic principle true for shooting 4K and bringing it into a timeline of 1080p? So if you crop in on a clip recorded in 4k that is in a 1080p timeline, it is still giving the same level of detail? It hasn’t been sized down and then I’m sizing down again, in other words? It is not always easy to tell when looking on a laptop as the screen quality is limited. 😅

You cam try use a software called handbreak to change the format from 4k to 1080p it should make your editing easier

      Im not sure if its 100% correct but you take 120 fps footage and slow it down and then render it at 120 fps ? I think the problem is here , usually when i do my slow motion i record at higher fps lets say 60 fps slow it down to 30 fps and render in 30 fps
