- Hi guys! Welcome to another video! Today I wanted to sit down and chat about something I didn't know I was passionate about until I was in it, and that is postpartum! Most people have their baby and then all of a sudden life is back to normal, but there is SO much that happens between now and then and its HARD. So I am hoping that if you don't have anyone to talk to or see if things are normal, I can be that person for you!

I feel like this is something that women do not usually openly talk about, so expectant moms have no idea what to truly expect after having a baby! I'm thankful you made this video, girl 🙏🏻 Now I have a way better idea of what to expect after my son is born! PS you look amazing! ❤️
Seriously so glad it can help you in any way 💛 thank you so much 🥺
So excited for your content! Loving your vids, thank you for sharing. 💛💛
Now I want to share my 4 pregnancies ❤ love how honest and real you are. Moms need to hear this and share these things without being judged. You're a beautiful mom inside and out ❤❤❤
I love the honesty! I just had my second about a week before you had rocky, so I can relate to all of this! Also about the nurse getting onto you about sids was completely uncalled for, sids is sudden no matter the location. It would have been death by suffocation, sids can’t be prevented no matter where the baby is because there’s literally no reason for it! I’ve slept with our 3 week old on my chest a few times in the night because sometimes they just need to be snuggled!! You’re doing GREAT girl, keep going & know you’re the best mom for rocky he could ever have! 🤗❤️
this comment means more to me than you know! thank you so much for the encouragement and congrats to you + your little addition.
1 week until our due date! Thanks for posting, we aren't surrounded by friends and family and this gave me alot of information for post partum! x
You did such a great job sharing the reality. Thanks for being real!
Great job momma for pushing through all the struggles. You are doing a great job!
Thank you so much 💛💛
Congratulations on the little one! Thank you for being so transparent, this is super helpful!
So so glad 💛💛
Thank you so much for being so real! As a first time mom that is due anyday it's nice to have this info of what could happen.
You are so welcome. Good luck to you girl 💛
Ughhh i feel you in literally everything you said! I love it all 🙌🏼

You are so sweet 😭😭 thank you for your sweet words and congrats to you!! 💛
Love the realness and honestly you provided. Postpartum is not fun to talk about and so many people are embarrassed and ashamed to talk about it. So thank you! You look absolutely amazing and Rocky is the cutest with that fohawk too.
Also don’t let anyone say anything about you sleeping with your baby or make you feel bad. We all have to do whatever we can to get some sleep including sleeping with our babies at times.
Thank you so much for this comment, it means more than you know 🥺
More of these videos need to exist! I am preparing for my delivery and have time. But feeling prepared will make me feel better overall.
Thank you, that means so much 💛 wishing you all the best!! You got this!

Yes, girl. Swaddling my kids at night was the secret of a lifetime. We all got such good sleep after learning that trick. Congratulations to you and your sweet family!
Your whole story reminds me so much of my birth and a lot of your vlogs along the way have reminded me of myself and my son! So crazy. I have a three month old son. So glad I found your channel, it’s nice to relate to another momma. 💙
Awh I love this so much. Relating to other mamas is the best 💛
Thank you for the honesty!! You look great & congratulations on Rocky!
Thanks so much 💛
this video is sooooo helpful and just know it gets easier
I’m so happy you and your baby are happy and healthy ❤️
thanks girl
Lots of things I didn’t know about postpartum! Thanks for sharing 😊 I’m currently pregnant with gestational diabetes and when you said you can finally eat whatever you want, I cannot wait until that’s me lol I have about 2 more weeks til my due date. Super excited 😁
You look amazing!! 🤍 I can’t get enough of Rocky so cute
I’m almost 2 weeks postpartum! The swaddleme swaddles are life savers! Ah the engorgment when your milk comes in, so bad. We’ll be feeling like ourselves soon ❤️
This is so helpful!! Thank you!
The butt pressure was horriddddd for me! Boppy pillow saved me!
It’s the worsttttt 😂
I remember when I had my daughter... SIDS was such a scary thing on our mind! I totally recommend the owlet sock if you ever worry about it! She is 15 months old now and just stopped wearing it at night!! Gives you peace of mind!
I considered it but was worried I’d be too obsessive with it and it would do more harm for my anxiety 🙈
Thank you so much for your honesty! I‘m 11 weeks pregnant and already so anxious about postpartum. This eased my mind a little bit
So glad it helps you 💛 you got this!!
33 weeks here and at risk for preterm so I’m going crazy trying to prepare! Thankyou for this ❤️❤️
Thank you for giving alllllll the real! Baby girl will be here in less than 3 weeks so this was so helpful.

You’re the sweetest, thanks a million 💛
I have watched so many of these videos (I had my baby in February) and I was always so shocked at no one talked about hemorrhoids. I struggled with them so much until around 3-4 months postpartum. To the point my mom would have to come help me while my fiancé was at work because it was way too much pressure to hold my baby. So thank you thank you thank you for being so honest, real, and raw!
ahhhh I don't get why its avoided, the majority of us have them LOL but you are so welcome! so hope you are doing better now.
This is helping me mentally prepare for when I give birth!! Thank you for sharing!!!!
Yayayayayya I’m pumped to watch
Hope you enjoy it! 🥰
hi! Im due in a couple of months and this was incredibly helpful. wow. thank you. thank you very much

Yessss Velcro swaddle 🙏🏼🙏🏼 that thing saved us and get wesson SLEEPING well
I’m due to be induced Monday the 21st and I also have gestational diabetes and a first time mom so this is such a good video of what to expect. Thank you!
So glad it helped!! Good luck to you 💛
Such a good job at explaining I can relate to almost everything I had twins and as soon as the sun set I was so sad and anxious and felt so alone. Thanks for being open talking about sleep no judgment at all I went through similar situations figuring it all out and it’s so scary💛
thank you so much!! it helps me so much knowing im not the only one! one is hard enough, I cannot imagine twins! props to you girl.
Definitely not!! I’m on my third and due in January so I’ve been watching tons of these videos again I’m so glad I found your channel 💕
1. You're amazing, and I am so glad that you are so open and honest with how post-partum really has been for you, because it makes it realistic for people who are wondering what it may be like. 2. Where are your post partum underwear from? they look super comfortable
Thank you so much 🥺 they’re from amazon!! A 4 pack of high waisted underwear :)
thank you for this video!!!
I am 40 weeks and binging on these videos waiting for baby to actually want to make an appearance. 😅
Ahhhh the wait is the worst! Good luck to you 💛
Omg same here😂😂
i learnt so much, thank you for this video and being so real :)
You’re so welcome 💛
Not a mom or pregnant yet but still love seeing your pregnancy journey!
Loved this video ❤️❤️
The not being able to sleep because you’re worried about your baby is REAL 😭 I didn’t get comfortable sleeping myself for quite some time...was constantly worrying and would wake up at any sound she made.
Also, something that I’m doing different this time around with my second baby is limiting visitors. As you mentioned, you’ve had constant visitors and barely any time just the three of you. On top that, when you have visitors, you’re not relaxing and resting. You’re up “entertaining” them per se. So if you’re not up for any visitors, just say you can’t & schedule for another day. You’re allowed to say no. Remember that and that you’re doing great 💗
I love the honesty and how real you are with everything! I’m due in 4 weeks and am so glad I watched this video. You and your baby look wonderful ☺️ I know you went over breastfeeding but do you think you’d ever make a video just on breastfeeding/latch/how to etc? I can never find good videos on that but feel like you’d make a great one 🤍
thank you so much!! and yes, totally! I have had a few people ask so I will incorporate it into a future video! just want to make sure I have as much tips as possible
Kilean Rodriguez sounds wonderful! Thanks so much. 🥰
I gave birth the day before you. So right there with you mama. Wanting the sleep, the nipple soreness, the many dr appointments, etc. this is my third and I’m still learning something new with each one. Keep up the good work hun! You look amazing!
Ps I’m vegan/plant based, and I never had a problem going to the bathroom after birth this time. Not saying being vegan is the answer. But I do think an insane amount of fiber this time around for me helped. Salads, dates, fruits, veggies, you know. ☺️ hope that helps. I know everyone is different too with experiences as well.
Awh congrats 💛 and thank you so much!! I definitely could be focusing more on the veggies! I totally believe it that it helps 🤗
I’m 31 weeks I’m supper nervous cause this is my first and don’t know what to expect but this video helps so much ❤️ thank you
Same!! I’m 31 weeks on tuesday. FTM
So glad it helped you 💛
6 weeks with my 3rd kid! You can do it. It is nervous and bumpy and crazy but you'll figure it out and it is so worth every single bumpy moment ❤❤❤❤❤
I have a really similar body type to you and look exactly like you did pre-pregnancy! Showing your body at the end of the video was such an encouragement to me and calmed my nerves about my body changing
I swear I love my body now more than ever. And I so hope that happens to you too!! 💛
Kilean Rodriguez wow that’s so incredible! And thank you 💗
Thanks for this video! I’m being induced sometime in the next week (most likely) and it’s great hearing the raw truth about post partum!
You are so welcome!! Good luck to you!!
Whats ur reason for getting induced? High Bp?
Yourstruly. Shexoxo GD!
Thinking of you 💓 38 week first time mum here too x
Yourstruly. Shexoxo The blood flow between baby and placenta has been off the entire pregnancy so although baby is healthy, he is small and not growing as much as he should be. Doctor is more comfortable and feels he will do better out at this point than wait another 2 weeks until I’m 40 weeks.
Ugh so helpful!!!!! I’m 30 days away and this is so helpful but makes me scared 😂😭😭😭😭
It is nerve racking but it goes by so fast that all the bumpiness soon becomes forgotten. 6 weeks with my 3rd kiddo
I would love to hear the tips your friend gave you that helped so much with your latch!
I’ll include this in a video ASAP 💛
Love this, it was very helpful
💛💛💛
You helped a lot of us mommies to be, really good information and answers for questions i didn't even know I had! Thank you 😊 #31weeks
I haven’t allowed anyone to see my baby except my parents and sister because of COVID and I’m kinda grateful for it because of the overwhelming feeling you are talking about with visitors. This was only due to recommendation from our pediatrician (:
Kinda wishing we would have been more strict simply because of the overwhelming feeling 😭 so glad it’s helped you!
Kilean Rodriguez you’re doing great momma 💗
You did an amazing job explaining all the details🙌. Your body looks incredible for just giving . 🔥 your Baby is so adorable. Congratulations Again. Love from, Indiana
Thank you so so much 💛
Thank you so much for this I’m so glad I found your channel ❤️pregnant with my first baby who’s also a boy 😊
You are so welcome! Congrats and good luck to you 🥰💛
Ahhh girl this is so so so good. 🙌🏼 also, I tore too and the freakin stomach pushing after delivery was THEEEE worst 🙄😭
Also... the hospital LCs are the absolute worst.. like no help at all! When we went to ours outside of the hospital was so so so much better 💕
Literally the worst 😭😭😭
Very helpful and real!
thank you so much for making this video. I am 36 weeks pregnant with my first and I am so terrified of labor, delivery and postpartum. I am not scared of the pain, but more so dealing with healing & postpartum all while taking care of my baby... it just seems impossible 😅
this video was really helpful
Currently in labor lol!! Love this 🥰🥰
ahhh!! good luck to you girl!!
Did you pop or still going?❤❤❤❤❤ how exciting
Thank you so much!
I haven't watched the whole video yet but you just have such lovely hair. 💕
Thank you!! My mom blessed me hehe 💛
Thank you for being so honest with everything!! I just found out I am pregnant and I am so nervous to have the baby and for postpartum even though it’s seven months away!
awh congrats to you!! and you are so welcome! as much as it is, the pain is temporary and if you take it day by day it's so much easier to handle. you got this girl!!
Breastfeeding is so hard! No one really tells you about just how hard it can be. I still have the odd tiny scar on my nipple from how cracked my nipples got but it so worth it in the end! I had to stop at 10 weeks because my milk supply wasn’t increasing and it broke my heart. Hope your breastfeeding journey continues to get easier and easier🤍
Also you looking insane!!
It’s crazy how hard it is!! I’m so sorry you didn’t get to go as long as you wanted, that must have been so hard 😭
Never heard about the clots before! Thank you for the heads up :)
You got this.
Due in 2 weeks! This is super helpful
So glad 💛
Im expecting here verysoon so this vid heloed alot and hey you look good and baby is so cute
your son is perfect. so adorable.
Thank you 🥺
Kilean Rodriguez you are so welcome! My husband and I are trying to conceive so I’m watching so many videos just to learn more about the whole process. Hoping to get pregnant soon. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
You look so great!! Thank you for sharing this too. Another swaddle you could try is the love to dream. Also please share your breastfeeding tips!!
I’ve heard of that one!! Definitely will be trying more! And I will make a video soon, trying my best to still get the hang of it so I can help you all as best as possible 💛
FTM due in February! Thank you so much for all of this info. I am desperate to figure out what's normal and what's not.
You are so welcome 💛
Breast feeding is super hard!!! Hang in there you are doing so very well.
Thank you so much for sharing! I am due tomorrow 🤞🏼🙈
I have to say though I’m so sad for you hearing how the health care system works in the US, in Australia the cost of having a baby from conception to postpartum is $0 (medical/ doctors wise) I don’t even have health care there’s no point. Plus our hospital is 3 years old and I have a private room, birth suite has a pool etc. it’s just not right, they should be making it easier to grow the population.
Just now seeing this, hoping you had your baby and you both are doing well 💛 that’s so crazy to hear!! I wish that’s how it was here, Australia seems better in all aspects to me 😜😍
Very well said. It’s all very real. I do remember although it’s been years. You just don’t forget some things. 😉 Are you using any sort of cream for breast feeding? I remember I did but can’t recall the name of it. And air drying helped tremendously fir me after feeding both my babies. (Single births) Crying is so so very normal. Just be sure you keep your hubby in tune to how you’re feeling. It can get away from you. Even if you go out for a walk with your baby it will help. Hang in there new parents and enjoy your absolutely darling baby boy. ❤️
Thank you 💛 yes I’m using lansinoh, life saving!! And I so appreciate the sweet words + advice🥰
hearing you say rocky in a sentence makes me so :))))))))))))
Awh you and I both 🥺
Post is painful.. forgot how painful it is.. I can relate on so many levels... what helped me is stool softener when pooping, after.. the tucks pads for hemorrhoids to place in that area plus where I got my stitches when I tore, alleviated a lot of discomfort... the duraplast spray to numb the area down below helped, a lot....
Valentina Smith couldn’t agree more!! 💛
This video was so helpfull! Thank you! Can I ask something? 😅Have you had the hemorrhoids in pregnancy or just postpartum?
Of course!! I had them towards the end of pregnancy but they were so small and don’t bother me!! But I did notice them 🙃
I have been co sleeping with my daughter since she was born, she is 7 months old and she sleeps 1000000% better than she does in her bassinet.❤️ Co sleeping is AMAZING!!
that's amazing!! i hate how doctors just terrify you with it!!
I really love you
you are soooooo cute! God bless you and your family lovely
Thank you!!
Girl you look great. After I had my son my belly was super saggy and a bunch of stretch marks
Thank you 🥺 I have some sag and stretch marks too😘
Kilean Rodriguez Your welcome!! 😍 It’s not noticeable
Thanks so much for sharing!! What brand are the postpartum underwear?
Linked them in my amazon storefront in the description box 💛
I had my sun at home using a birth stool, et was so helpful and great but my gawdddd my bottom was so sore and my tailbone hurt 😩
Ahhh props to you!! And it’s the worst 😅
For the hospital bill, call billing and ask for an itemized bill with everything you’re paying for and the price. Let them know you won’t be paying the bill until you see this. It should lower your bill a ton, its worked for me every time!
thank you SO much for this!! Didn’t even think about doing it but will totally am going to 😍
Thanks for this tip! I've been concerned about additional charges and costs from my care, and this helps me feel less anxious!
