  • My earliest Toon Disney upload to date. This aired sometime in October of 2001 and has some pretty rare promos and bumpers. (This took over a day to upload so hope you like it) Enjoy!

Speaking of Pepper Ann, you'll all be happy to know that it's coming to Disney+ next week.
    Ah, the power of streaming.

I have seen Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys several times in my life. I know that most say that it’s not as good as the 1964 original, but at least I can say that it came out only five months after I was born.

This video is like similar to Cartoon Network where they used the Powerhouse bumpers but they also used the Checkerboard bumpers.

@@toondisneyreboot Also if it hurts to ask. But do you have any SuperDave Promos and Bumpers from Toon Disney Early Years From 1998 to 2002 ? Because Those are hard to find on the Interwebs and Sometimes I make TV Network Broadcast Recording Re-Creation on Archive.org sometimes.

April 1998 to August 2002 was the 1st era. September 2002 to August 2004 was the 2nd era. August 2004 to February 2009 was the 3rd & final era.
However, the main logo for the 2nd era was actually introduced in 2001 (as seen in these promos) and used in many bumpers and promos thru-out 2001 and early 2002 before the 2nd era came.
For the 3rd era, Sept 2004 to Aug 2005 was the blue variation of the logo, while Sept 2005 up until the end of the network was the red variation of the logo, I'm pretty sure.

@@mqgTWO96 I believe the Toon Disney's 3rd logo by CA Square started on September 19th, 2004 as the variation of Disney Channel's 2002 logo. There are two versions during the 3rd era bumper: From September 19th, 2004 to October 2nd, 2005, the 3rd logo color was blue with silver outline, the word "TOON" in red, and Disney logo in gold (Jetix version uses the Disney logo in silver only). As of October 3rd, 2005 to February 2009, the 3rd logo's color changed to red with black outline, "TOON" in yellow, and Disney logo in bright yellow, instead of gold and it becomes a 4th logo. There's also an Earth Day variant in throughout April 2008 where the 4th logo's color is in green instead of red.

For October 2001, the Toon Disney's 1998 on-screen bug will soon to be replaced with a 2001 on-screen bug after the 2nd logo first debuted in late Summer 2001, even though the 2nd logo was first seen on Most Animated Kid Search in May 2001.

The 1998-2001 logo is very similar to the 2002-2004 Logo. They just put the TOON text over the ears for the 02-04 Logo

Shame really how few people had toon disney as part of their daily lineup of tv channels but it being part of the most expensive if not close to the most expensive channel packages im not surprised
i myself was only able to watch toon disney when i went to my grandparents for the weekend i had cable but we never paid higher then the teir 2 package and toon disney was like on the 4th or 5th (the most if not one of the most expensive channel packages) one so i only got to enjoy the channel during the weekend sadly

Not everyone could afford to have Toon Disney at that time. A majority of them didn’t discover Toon Disney until 2005 or 2006 that’s when they have a little exposure to it because Jetix took almost the whole channel’s programming. Luckily I discovered Toon Disney in early 2001 when my family got Dish Network along with Boomerang TV channel. Great times.

We too had DIRECTV and I grew up with Toon Disney along with everything else. It’s quite sad really that a lot of people didn’t get it because the Friday night movies were amazing and a big part of my childhood I guess that’s also why I am the only one that knows of Lucky and Zorba because it aired on a Friday night movie on Toon Disney.
