"One sparrow chick was hurt in the attack" - well, considering it was the one that the angry one held onto and was beating the shit out of the entire time it was in the box picking a fight, that's not exactly surprising.
You always remember this as the day you almost caught captain sparrow
I like how theem bigger brother ganged up and stayed on guard, even when mom came in.
When the mother sparrow returned she realized that something bad happened.
That sparrow became a sparrow hawk
My best friend, Enjoyed watching this video my friend Really awesome views Thank you Stay connected
Can you tell me about the type of camera you used?
House sparrows are vicious even to their own kind.
Yes, they are. I've seen them try to kill each other in the street because of a nest. They will kill swallows over a nesting box. Their hard beaks will destroy a swallow. Swallows have very soft beaks.
There was a attack, but only one was just injured and no one was killed. This is fortunate. It often happens that whole chicks die.
This often happens in pigeons too the other pigeons used to attack the new borns and caused an injury on the head of 15 days old chick .. it was on my roof so we know it happens when we were out for 2-3 days otherwise we used to protect them ( they were not ours they were wild pigeon )
Interesting to see such brutal conspecific behavior like that. I initially though it was "Mafia Hypothesis" type behavior. Yikes!
Need more vids like this.

I like how the sparrow shoves his beak into the nestling's mouth.
'I'll feed you a fist full of beak' 😤😤😤😤
It's the mother sparrow. The male sparrows have black on their chests and are easy to spot.
Anyway, she must have had some reason for doing this.
Been watching a lot of these kinds of videos. Firsr, storks, eagles, woodpeckers and now this. I didn't know much about birds before. Now, I reallzed they're quite brutal on their young and to other bird species. So naive to think they got along well.
Bro like shut up 0:09
one hell of a jumpscare
Lol
The sparrow attacked the one but the mother was just looking for food and was far away and the sparrow finded the babys and attacked the babys for food to there babys
The toxic chemicals released by my state's oil refineries killed a lot of birds. I hardly see any sparrows and doves in my backyard nowadays.
If the chemicals only killed those species, it would be very good news for native bird populations
@@Nate-dn1gx not all Sparrows and Doves are "problematic", there's species of them that are even in danger of extintion, if this affect to them too it will be a big problem, also toxic wastes not only kill birds, kills anything that is alive

This is because of male sparrow when the malw one cheated his 1 st female pair when she was incubating their eggs so male ones mating & pair with other female sparrow male thinks her 1 st female doesn't know about him but female notices & knows about this of male sparrows because male didn't able to give her sufficient time while female sparrow are loyal to males but when she knows truth then female sparrow is aggressive she suddenly attacking the nest of male sparrow 2 nd female mate that's reason behind this attack
House sparrows exhibit aggressive behavior, especially during nesting periods. They are known to be territorial and may attack nestlings of other sparrows to defend their chosen nesting sites. This behavior includes destroying eggs, killing nestlings, and sometimes even adult birds that are attempting to nest in their territory.
Male house sparrows are particularly aggressive in defending their nests and will spend a significant amount of time guarding their territory during the breeding season. They may attack adults of other species, peck at eggs, and remove or kill nestlings from nest boxes. This aggression is mainly directed towards their own neighbors, as house sparrows are more bonded to their nest site than to their mate.
It’s important to note that while house sparrows can be aggressive, their main diet consists of seeds, grains, and insects, not other birds. Direct instances of sparrows killing other birds are rare2. The aggressive behavior is more about competition for nesting spots rather than predation. Providing diverse habitats and maintaining bird-friendly environments can help foster a harmonious coexistence among different bird species.
Sparrows are mean birds. They rip babies out of other birds nests and throw them on tge ground to die. Incuding their own kind.

My doubt: will they do this to other bird species other than themselves, they are cunning creatures.
If all 4 where on the attack they could have fought it off :/
They're too inexperienced, attacking sparrow was already motivated to attack by instinct. Inexperienced chicks are motivated by instinct to be aggressive feeders.

@@reneelegere6112 by your grammar, it clearly shows you don't have any education.
The sparrow looked like a house sparrow, this invasive species of bird is extremely aggressive and will attack and kill native bird’s nestlings.
I’m not exactly sure if it’s a different species of sparrow or a house sparrow, but that’s all I have to say
ALL birds will do this. Absolutely no reason to go on some stupid rant about invasive species, especially when european house sparrows have been in the US so long, they're basically native.
Also, if you weren't an idiot, you'd realize that the chicks are ALSO house sparrows.
I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW but the good news is they survived
