Back in early December 2019 a few days after Thanksgiving, as part of my "4th Quarter 2019" Food Challenge Tour, I flew from the Atlanta, Georgia area down to Florida for some food challenge events all around the state. For challenge #6, I went to Aguila Sandwich Shop in beautiful Tampa, Florida. Aguila is known for their delicious Cuban sandwiches and other traditional Cuban foods. I took on their new 6ft Long Biggest Cuban Sandwich Challenge. It was a 6ft long sandwich cut up into six foot-long sandwiches. Each piece weighed around 1lb so the whole sandwich challenge weighed a little over 6lbs total. This authentic Cuban sandwich had sliced ham topped with Cuban shredded pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, mayonnaise, and mustard. Alex the owner decided to try the challenge with me too, helping to debut their new challenge, and we each had 1 hour to finish all 6 feet and win our meals free plus sweet new t-shirts and hats. Thanks so much to Alex and his team for the wonderful food and hospitality, and thanks to all the amazing people who came up to watch and meet me that afternoon!! Aguila Sandwich Shop's 6ft Long Biggest Cuban Sandwich Challenge ($44.70):
- Aguila Sandwich Shop in Tampa, Florida is known for their delicious Cuban sandwiches and other traditional Cuban foods.
- You must finish 6ft of Cuban sandwich which is sliced up into six foot-long sandwiches.
- Each piece weighs around 1lb so the sandwich weighs a little over 6 pounds total.
- The authentic Cuban sandwich has sliced ham topped with Cuban marinated shredded pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, mayonnaise, and mustard.
- Get ready to eat a lot of bread, but the bread will be fresh and very flavorful from a local bakery.
- There is a 1 hour time limit to finish the entire sandwich.
- Winners receive the meal free, a sweet t-shirt & hat, and a spot on their Wall of Fame!!

Not really owner has food costs and paying people and the cost of the building so it’s not free for him. The only that was free for the owner was getting free advertising being on Randy’s channel.

As much as we all like to see Randy win these challenges, I think the most important part of his work is promoting the venue , alot of the places are small independent outlets so the publicity must help them an awful lot . Keep up the good work , due respect from the UK 👍
