the practical use of bricks for the tleportation animation is really cool!
The teleport animation has to be my favorite. It’s really cute and spirally. Holding the pieces at odd angles and the little attention to detail like wobbling is really fun.
So much work and intricate detail placed into such small length animations. Incredible!

For the record: I ADORE that all the puppeteering rigs and armatures were made from Lego, as well. The one in the Back Flip made me happier than it should have. ^_^;

Just an idea but how about impact frames, having a mini figure super speed, and punch punch, swap out the background and minifig with a black and white minifig and a black background,!then swap back to normal animation with smear frames. Might look cool!

I've done that 'triggering the camera with my feet' thing, too. But it was back in the mid-to-late '90s. I had a camcorder plugged into a VCR, and I had to start it recording, with my foot, stop it, with my foot, then rewind, playback, pause, and advance frame by frame until I had just 3 frames of what I'd just recorded (because the VCR backed up 1 or 2 frames when it started recording), then put it on record, but paused, get ready, and hit record on the remote with my toe, again, and go through the whole cycle over, for each frame. I didn't just have my hands in the shot, but I was sitting in a chair in the frame, and the chair was sliding around the room. That took ages.

If your making another one of these animation impossible things, don't just make the mini figure teleport. Maybe make it like if they are in 1 position than teleport behind a mini figure in a drop kicking position.

Since you rotated the legs and not the upper body, the legs are backwards bit the rest is forwards, so if the upper half is going the way the head faces at a neutral state, the mini fig is going forward.
