@@AquosFrost They do. The Bay movies, while they receive a lot of criticism for the excessive violence Optimus indulges in, they do a great job in portraying the fact that they have been at _war_ with each other for longer than human civilization's existence; you can't exactly sugar-coat _war_ very effectively, and they show that in full with the pure brutality of the kills throughout them. Animated was great because of how radically different it was from the norm, given the much different history and seeing an Optimus Prime who _isn't_ the wise leader we've come to know him for. Then of course there's Transformers Prime...which needs no introduction.
@@legobrick1356 I don't mind the violence, but the constant horny and the sleazy camera are definitely problems. Also the lack of high tech weapons in favor of lead spitters.
The original "The Transformers" theme is very simple, that's why it works so well even when played in other musical genres.
"Waltuh, put the Cyber Key away, Waltuh."

bakugan and transformers unicron trilogy were really the peak of cartoons as a kid
Forgot beyblade
It wasn't peak, but Sigma 6 was a happy space for me. It's also where I discovered one of my favorite sci fi tropes. The Missile Massacre.
Oh
Oh, that's a good hit of nostalgia.
Say, have you heard of GI Joe Sigma 6? It was a contemporary show.
