There is a lot of power in the PM74, it is a nice addition to the Digitrax line.
PR4, that will buff right out :)
It is nice that the bxp88 has built in circuit protection as then a short only takes out a single block. I had been planning to use the DR4088LN-CS, but the circuit protection is a nice addition.

Bxp88 is now my end goal but I need a proper command station. Which means dcs 240, ps2012 and 1 booster for the layout. Which will take time to get.

What is the purpose of the PR4 anyways if you have a command station that connects via USB ? Still cant figure that one out. Also does the bxp88 offer transponding too ? Im working on a layout and trying to figure out which equipment ill need. Maybe you could lend a hand @Rayon VR ! Let me know thanks for the video !

So for me I had a pr4 before I had the dcs 52. Once I had the dcs 52, the pr4 was obsolete. So not really a loss, since I have the 52 now. According to digitrax the BXP88 does alot. Allows 8 power blocks and circuit breaker protection in those 8 blocks. It does detection of those 8 blocks from any digitrax transponder and feeds the info back to Loconet for jmri capability.

@@rayronvr So haha Another good one for ya. the out put header pins on the right of the DS74. What exactly do they go to. I know you can connect a cable but where do the pins go to? Thanks

@samuelkerr5590 I use digitirax's ribbin cable to connect it to those pins to a digitrax BD4N for momentary turn-out control. See it in action here. czcams.com/video/cPMJxpIqj_0/video.html
