By showing me how to open the display I was able to swap displays between 2 SLT A77II, of which one was still working except for the display (which was broken after I accidentally dropped the camera), while the other one's display still worked but only displayed a permanent error message.
Hello, Thx for the great video. Although I have a little problem. The new screen doesnt stay in the cage. It doesnt clicks in and it is keep coming out. I temperarely fixed it with gaffer tape, but obviously I need a better solution. Any advice? Thx, Pete
Can the A77ii be used fully with the evf without ever using the backpanel screen or are there things that can only be controlled/viewed via the backpanel? Thank you.
I opened my sony a77 after almost a year and it turned on then alpha logo showed and i had to set location and time zone , everything seems to be fine but after a few seconds it shut down and won't turn on,,i kept my camera without battery in a airtight box with some silica gel,, charged battery fully before using it,but it shut down and wont turning on,,when i turn on switch some red light is popping beside card slot and there is no information in display,,what could be the problem?
