    This was a fun little DIY project that was super easy but is going to be awesome to practice on and I believe very effective and affordable. This is an 8x3 ft platform that is plenty big enough to roll putts on

    You know how you swing a weighted bat and a regular bat feels lighter, well if you practice putting into something smaller than a golf hole, when you putt at the course the regular sized hole will look huge. I never tried it but wonder if that is what you are planning on doing with that.

    • @flyersboy01
      @flyersboy01 Před 2 lety +5

      I do that every night. Putt to a quarter. That way even if you role it right over the quarter, you’ll still know if you hit it too hard or not. And it doesn’t make regular putting easier in my opinion. Practice in general makes putting easier

    I don't have to build a putting surface, the carpet in this condo works great for the purpose. I have a nine foot long area to get all the practice in I want. I've been doing it for 4 years now almost every night and I don't miss a lot of putts anymore especially inside that 9 foot range. It's amazing how easy a 6 footer can look when your prime practice range is 3 feet longer.

    For anyone that doesn't have a saw, you can usually have the yard or store cut everything for you. I believe the box stores do it for free but your local yard might also but sometimes they charge a small fee. If you figure out your dimensions beforehand, all you'll need is a drill or driver to complete along with a staple gun
