I love this truck and would like to buy one. However, there are several issues that stand in the way for a Middle-income buyer like me. It’s hard to justify paying $70K for a truck that a couple of years ago, the price was 25 to 30% lower than today, while at the same time my income like most of the middle class has remained the same, if not lower.
Preach!! Stay with my gmc canyon for a few more years.
Back when pickup trucks were used as work vehicles, if you told them that one day they would be 70k, they would accuse you of "smoking something".
I think this may be the first time $70k and Bargain have been used in the same sentence 🙄

Just bought a new duramax engine at 150k miles. Mine blew up, threw a rod. I always Maintenance it like a pro. Yeah it sucks ‼️
I bought a 2023. Similar optioned but I have the sunroof (should be a pano roof, GMC!) and I absolutely love it. I had an ecoboost 2013 FX4...great truck and I liked it but this LZO motor and drivetrain is the best driving truck I've ever been in. 35MPG+ from central WA to Montana even over mountain passes and tows my 7klbs boat no problem. The seats are very stiff compared to my Ford but I can say that after 600 miles trips to Montana that my back and legs feel much better after the trip in the GNC vs the softer Ford seats. Love this truck just wish it was a bit easier to do larger tires.

How is it for off road when it has a snow plow front end? No clearance with that brick wall.
I used to buy a Kenworth for less than that.
That is a nice truck and maybe one I would consider buying but that is not what I would call a bargain. Maybe if we all wait a bit and let these season on the lot for a while there will be some discounts like 20K off for example.
Should be 55k, people is over paying.
I wouldn't call that a bargain because just 3 or 4 years ago the price would have been around $55k to $60CAD at most the denali would be around $70k to $75k CAD which would be 30% cheaper in US, nice try tho, big guy
I’m hoping to get this ride in October. Sweet looking truck. While others have “poo-pooed” this truck for the price, I view it as my primary ride that’s not a car, more suitable for what I want, and luxury 😊

I can’t decide between this or buying out my 2021 f150 eco boost.
Remember the 3.5 water pump is in the crankcase, with the engine oil....
The SLT is a better deal, rides more comfortably and with the tan interior is far more attractive. And of course the 3 litre diesel
I like the truck but value is not a term that comes to mind at $70,000.

This GMC truck is the one I'm going to get because traveling distance from work to home the diesel truck will be better off for fuel affishantsy then any Gasoline truck any day regardless if it chest a 4 leater

8800 lbs towing? I remember the 2022 was 11,000 lbs. Maybe because it was a long bed
also why 20k more just for not a 4cyl, just a 6cylinder. No bench seat, thought the power rear window is nice.
Change 1500 to 2500 and it’s still not a bargain 🤦♂️

Light duty diesel trucks do not have an exhaust brake.

Why do I need a diesel? I know you prefer them but for an everyday driver why diesel over gas. I need reasons. I do keep my vehicles long, like 10 years on my gas Silverado.

Fuel economy is much better than the 6.2l. Diesels have much better torque curves. It’s not all rainbows though. The emissions suck to have and deal with
