I believe it's likely that the tape contained the whole thing about SPOILERS AHEAD Anna/Nina being the one that actually went through the whole Red Rose Mansion experiment and how Johan took those memories for himself. It was said that the tape contained the origin of the monster, and Nina's memories were indeed the origin of the monster. He also pointed out he was waiting for Nina at the door, while reading a storybook (which indeed happened, when she was returning from the RRM).
