  • The EZ-Cover by Aquamatic Pool Cover Systems is the worlds only single user manual swimming pool and spa safety cover that can be opened and closed by one person, in one comfortable standing position without having to pull ropes or manhandle cranks like all other covers. The EZ-Cover is also the only manual cover that can be installed in all of the same installation applications as an automatic swimming pool cover. The EZ-Cover also exceeds ASTM F1346-91 standards for safety and closure to meet pool barrier guidelines. The EZ-Cover can be opened or closed in about 50 to 80 seconds on most average sized pools, and is supported by a lifetime limited warranty on the drive unit. This DIY (do-it-yourself) package is ideal for the family that wants swimming pool safety while keeping your pool clean and warm.

If you own one of these EZ covers, how much of a workout is it to open and close it at a fairly quick speed? I have medical problems that limit how much I can exert myself and for how long. I need to preserve some energy for taking a light swim plus also closing it back up.

We had a guy install our we love it! It was $4900 but no leaves in the pool ever and no springs or bs to deal with or anchors open any day in the winter to inspect the liner and water run electric scrub robot just for mid winter maintenance all of pool ownership is easier with one of these I would recommend getting an electric one instead of the hand crank but I couldn’t afford that lol

What’s the length of your cover and roughly how many seconds on average does it take you to close it? I’m thinking of putting a lap pool in my back yard that would be about 8’ by 45’ long. A doctor recommends I do slow speed swimming for my medical problems that limit how much time I can be active. So if it takes me 3 minutes to open and 3 to close, it’d probably be too much time on that and only allow 14 minutes for the swim. But 4 minutes total on the cover for a 16 minute swim is more doable.

Interesting product, I'm in Ohio and need one for my pool. Unfortunately, after four weeks of inquiries, I can confirm that the company does not respond to emails, inquiries sent via their website, facebook messages, or phone calls. Maybe they only sell in California.

Hi, did you ever happen to get a slatted cover for your pool? I'm doing a project for college and desperately trying to find people who have slatted covers. I'd love to be in contact if so!

@@winnie2miley Not sure what you mean by "slatted." I finally was able to contact these folks, purchased a retractible cover from them, had it shipped to me in Ohio, and installed it myself four years ago. www.aquamatic.com/ez-covers

@@DailySource My pool is about 40 feet, and it probably takes 3 minutes to open or close the cover, and it is noticeable exercise while doing it- the arm motion similar to a nordic track ski machine. 8x45 pool has to be expensive- have you considered a smaller powered pool like those offered by endless pools? They even have above ground ones. Before I had successful back surgery I even considered installing one of those in my garage, thinking I could remove it when I didn't need it any more and then donate it to a physical rehab charity.
