It's Hertford, not Hereford by the way. Two different towns
Noticed that too, along with Harlow Town being placed between Roydon and Broxbourne on the map as opposed to Harlow Mill & Roydon. Found that odd. Maybe he missed that. Both cases are the more notable mistakes in the video (along with Roydon being shown to get two Stratford- Bishop's Stortford services when it only gets the the one (the stopping one; that calls at Enfield Lock)).
And Sheringham not Sherington. Great work with the graphics 👍🏻
Hereford is a city…
@@FullCircleplaysgames...okay
Important to note that Abellio pulled out of the UK in February, so GA (Along with EMR, WMR and Merseyrail) are currently under "Transport UK Group" and not Abellio
Something else to note, the London - Stanstead Airport services are operated on the sub brand of greater anglia, called “Stansted Express”
love the series man keep it up!
Once again, incredible video with incredible service maps! Looking forward to more train operators
I was waiting for this!
You forgot to mention about Beaulieu Park station in the future developments part, they started construction in january last year.
Really cool video
Nice!👍
Thabk you. Excellent video.
Looking forward to the Southern episode.
@4:35 "Weekday peak time Stansted Express services will return to four trains per hour from Monday, May 22.
Trains will run every 15 minutes during the following periods on Mondays to Fridays:
London Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport from 5.10am to 8.10am, and from 4.10pm 7.40pm.
Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street from 6am to 9.15am, and 4.45pm to 8.15pm."

You should do east Midlands next because they have a massive network
There are now a few services between Norwich and Liverpool Street with few stops that take just 1 hour, 33 minutes.
One oddity is that Lakenheath station doesn't have a weekday service. Only one train in both directions on Saturdays while the service is increased on Sundays to accommodate the demand for the RSPB marshes.
04:03 - just to let you know that service runs to Hertford East and is pronounced "Hart-furd". And "Hereford" is pronounced "Herror-furd"!
LNER next please!
Just to let you know it's pronounced Heartford east. Hereford and hertford are different towns
Southern next pls. Keep up the great vids
You should do south Western railway including the island line
Great explainer video. I think you may have said Sherrington rather than Sheringham and Norfolk instead of Norwich when you explain where Crown Point depot is. Cambridge South station is now under construction.
Please do scotrail next
Great video Ashley. 321/3s are gone from Greater Anglia which is a shame 😢😞
Yep they are gone but not forgotten.
Price wise, it's worth pointing out that GA sells next day advances from Norwich to London. Checking for tomorrow, if I don't care when I go, an advance either way is £35 before Railcard.
And today, they are offering a return for £20 between Norwich and London but railcards/discounts cannot be applied unfortunately. (must book before 18/10, and must travel before 04/12, standard class only)
And there are a decent number of £10 advance singles as well
Shame you couldn’t do this 5 years go- much variety back then ! You should NSE for a 100 k subscriber special.
I use Greater Anglia a lot as I live near to Rayleigh station and the Class 745 & Class 755 Stadler Flirt and Class 720 Alstom Aventra are incredible trains. Wish that Greater Anglia could of kept the Class 379 Electrostars which have been moved for storage.
Greater Anglia used to have the Class 90 Mk3, Class 317, Class 321, Class 153, Class 156, Class 170 Turbostar and Class 360/1 Desiro that EMR have inherited from.
Should note that Shenfield is not within the Oyster Fare Zone, the previous station on the Elizabeth Line (Brentwood) is, however.
You can use oyster to travel to Shenfield
@@grassytramtracks I went to double check on the TfL fares page and you’re right. I thought being outside the fare zone would mean not being able to use an Oyster card at said station?
I wanna see south western railway or LNER next. Idk i can’t decide.
I'm pretty sure that the Stansted express service stops at Tottenham Hale.
It does
Hertford, the county town of Hertfordshire, is pronounced "hartford" (also "hartfordshire"). The coat of arms contains three harts (adult male deer).
Strange recognising Lowestoft station on the Thumbnail 😂
Another Future development (which was probably not included since it’s pretty much cancelled) was the reintroduction of the Lowestoft - London route via the East Suffolk line. This was even in Abellio’s franchising agreement I think.
Main problem was the bottleneck at Ipswich which couldn’t handle another through service so Lowestoft bound services are stuck terminating at Ipswich :/
This gets mentioned every now and again but its looking like it may be a while before it happens if at all
@@DominicDenson Even if they just manage to extend the line to Chelmsford or even up to Shenfield would be beneficial for travellers in East Suffolk as they have more frequent services to London…
Maybe the agenda may be moved forward as the Green party holds a sizeable chunk of East Suffolk council…
How do you make the route map animations?
RIP Angel Road
Long gone since Meridian Water replaced Angel Road.
Can you do London northwestern railway?
I don't get why it's £7 for a return ticket from Bishops stortford and harlow, rediculous honestly that it's even over £5
At least Greater Anglia was generous enough to let its London services be run by TFL in 2015.
Train-i-pool Street
What app do you use to make these maps?
Do EMR next
Do Scotrail next
Have you done Transport for Wales?
Can you do lner?
Hey can you do SWR explained?
It's next on the list
@@ashleyrabot Alright thanks.
How do you make these maps, with which tools, I'd like to make some train maps in my own time.
I'm not trying to steal your content, I'm not planning on making videos and if I was It'd be about Belgian and or continental railways in Europe, not British ones.
Witham is pronounced "Wittam" by the way.
Yeah that’s true. And I have been to Witham.
@@AndrewG1989 - Awesome. How was it?
Not with am it wit ham
HERTFORD is pronounced "Hartford", not 'Hairford", because, you know, there's a 't' in it. Also, Harwich is pronounced "Haridge", not 'Harick'.
Hertford no Hereford
Greater Anglia is so dead now
Indeed because of Abellio aren’t going to extend the East Anglia franchise and I hope that DfT does take over. Or maybe First Group should take over just like they once operated First Great Eastern.
