DT makes Miku look “plastic”. PSP isn’t too bad, but F2nd is the best. More realistic shading, good textures. The heart effects makes that version more unique compared to the other two.
I love F2nd! (Not because New CT's) They made it look real, their facial expressions, colours, hand movements (not just only the pointing, pinky, the default hand, and the "hold". Notice it when she hold the mic in some PV's, her pinky is raising up.) Even though the physics weren't that good, at least they made it better! DT has shadows, (Yes always) But isn't it weird for some stages, or PV's to have shadows inside a room? Even self-shadow, Sometimes, they still have s-s even there's no light, (except if there is light in there.) F2nd wins for me. -The 60fps in Dt is good, but it makes the game blurry, so it looks dull. F2nd has 30fps locked, which make things more cinematic (like Rolling Girl's ChanceTime ending)
I still think that sometimes DT gives me some kind of uncanny valley feel lol... Also those hands... Those damn hands uggh. PSP and F2nd are ok for me (except for the neck on PSP lol) but they're fine I guess

The shadows are way better in F2nd but it's a little too dark, and it have really lack of good lightning in the background, but the sun in it's a good addition. Dreamy Theater at least in this song doesn't look too plastic... but just too bright. If you actually watch just the Dreamy theater PV the eye is going to look less strange, but I agree with the dead eyes. Future Tone made it better. I think that because most of people in here just play the F series, they are completely ignoring what is good about the others. They have really something special on the own way. Especially the PSP version, it's very nostalgic. If it didn't existed, F probably wouldn't come to existence. Sorry for my bad English, I just have comment because I don't think it's fair just talk like if the F version doesn't have any flaws at all. All of the versions are really too different in the time they were made, that it doesn't make sense compare them like this.

@@gabiowls2972 lack of good lighting? Do you realise how bad the lighting is in FT? Its too bright in dark songs and too dark in happy songs. In Spica, when there was a purple spotlight, Miku had white light on her body. In THIS SONG there is a window yet there is literally no light coming out of the window. In Unhappy Refrain, Tengaku, Rolling Girl and Tokyo Teddy Bear, it looks like Miku and Rin have spotlights on them. In Decorator and Acute, they flat out look like they are glowing. In Alien Alien, its too dark in some parts. In Tell your world, its bright in a dark area. While in Aikotoba, you are literally in an area with tons of sunlight but its not bright enough. At least F, F2nd and X werent afraid to use mood lighting like FT. They made the previously mentioned songs nice and bright (except Alien Alien for obvious reasons) or eerie and dark.
