When I used to eat them as a child the gravy was red and had a distinct taste of tomato. The mashed potatoes had a pool of butter / maybe margarine at the top and the edges of the mashed potatoes would caramelize and was the best part to eat. The corn was caramelized in places as well as it cooked in the oven for like 50 minutes in foil. The brown again -carmelized edges. I wonder if someone added a bit of butter to the potatoes and to the corn, and maybe a light smear of tomato paste to the gravy/steak, and put each entree in a foil tray and then cooked it if it would taste the same as it once did? Because the potatoes and corn were once amazing as was the nut brown which probably no longer contains nuts.

The Salisbury steak meals of any kind are my safe choices for a frozen dinner. They usually don't disappoint and are generally tasty.

Nice! I should try some other kinds of salisbury steak frozen meals. Thanks for sharing!

I actually like the turkey dinner they best, followed by the fried chicken one. I also get the Hungry Man version over the Swanson’s smaller ones, on the occasion I do buy a TV dinner.

Thanks for sharing! Those other Swanson ones you mentioned tasted pretty good too when I tried them.

Great videos. Maybe you could show what stuff looks like before it's cooked too?

WAIT I thought they discontinued the regular Swanson TV dinners? I don't really care since I prefer Hungry Man anyway, but still, I thought these vanished from the shelves YEARS ago
EDIT: I'm from the US so I guess that's why. Because Hungry-Man dinners are the exact same as these with just bigger portions. So I guess I answered my own question lol

Not sure about the USA, but here in Canada where I'm at, we have both Swanson and Hungry Man meals!

His stepmom was an heiress to the company I guess. But hey, he's just another one born on third and acts like he hit a home run
