You can't control what's going on around you, but you can expand your perimeter, so as to keep it from happening to near your vitals. As you say all security is about buying time... It is possible the you actually say that in a video from the future, in relation to this vantage point

Hey, Bryan & ITS crew. Let me say I've been a happy ITS customer for years now. I have long lost count of how many of your Boo-Boo first-aid and trauma kit sales I've moved your way, as well as your other products around getting out of illegal restraints. You make excellent products at affordable and fair prices, and I've stood behind that when friends and colleagues ask my advice on the best place to get these tools.
The title, "Cutting Through the Noise and Defining Who We Are," just isn't ringing true here.
It's clear that ITS wants to make some kind of statement in the midst of both the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the BLM movement and police brutality protests. But, you're just not making it. The entire video, it seems like you're just dancing around it, beating around the bush. I wasn't the only one who commented on that point. You're saying you want to "cut through the noise" and "define who you are", but much of the language is obtuse and evasive. "Things." What things? You said "protest" and "COVID-19" once, but, there's so much focus around *your* cause here.
We all know that the products you sell and the causes that motivate you absolutely apply all these "things" going on. But let's not gloss over it, shall we? A pandemic a lot of people are lacking the support, tools, and skills to navigate. Protests of police brutality, where press and citizens are being unlawfully assaulted, harmed, and restrained by law enforcement while peacefully exercising their First Amendment rights. ITS has a STRONG place in the middle of all of that. I would love to see ITS tools in the hands of people on the front lines fighting this pandemic, or protesting peacefully, being prepared and armed with the right skills to survive. It makes sense.
You are trying to send a message with this video, but you're not making it. It's all over your body language as well. I've watched your other videos, and by comparison, here your voice is not confident, your eye tells are indicating a lot of emotional stimulus and evasion, you're looking away from the camera a lot, your hands are wringing, you're swallowing hard, your mouth is announcing something negative like disgust or contempt. This isn't just the discomfort of being in front of a camera; you've been in these videos before. There's some serious holding back going on here.
This is your platform, and you have a solid brand. Please choose to use them for some good. Take a stand, make your message heard. Tell the world where ITS's lofty causes stand in relevance to all of these "things" going on - by name. Convince us that ITS is still the brand that will stand by us during all of this injustice where your tools have a place.
But alternatively, if you cannot or are unwilling to speak up, "cut through the noise", and just say what you want to say, what needs to be said...please just choose to say nothing. There are plenty of other organizations with important things to say, who are just trying to get serious about cutting through the noise.
Again, I love your products. I just want to know I can remain in love with your brand and your "cause".

As a long time subscriber and customer...I really hope I'm wrong, but what he ISN'T saying tells me enough about where he stands on these issues...

I agree only with the last full paragraph of your message. I think the problems we are seeing a driven by Brand [insert name here] making a stand. I don't need the companies I purchase from to make political statements. I only ask that they give me what I pay for.
