This is the end of a lot of things and we’re promoting it, not condemning it. Wow.
Also the beginning of many others. When digital videography and photography came out, same things were said. Adopt and adapt. I don't like much of it but change isn't always comfortable.
I’ve gone back and forth from pure anger, to being scared, to my morbid curiosity causing me to egg this tech on, as if to see how crazy it can get.
You should go back to being angry.
The first time a director/editor decides to “add performance” to a clip, well, that’s pretty much what the last actor’s strike was about, right? No way this flies with any of the performers I know.
Also, as the video played, I tried to imagine how many people will lose jobs because of this. I stopped counting after I saw the 50th job lost… But yay for “disruption,” I guess?
And for what? At its heart, this is the difference between “content,” which is pretty often low cost, low quality, and TV shows and movies, which is neither. And I think the saying “you get what you pay for” DEFINITELY applies here. It’ll be sad to see 100% human generated content become a “niche,” but hey, vinyl is “worse” than CD’s, and it’s having a big resurgence, as people realize tinny compressed MP3 don’t stack up to even a modest record player. I hope there’s always room for human-made art!
As demonstrated, this technology is mediocre, but definitely cheaper, so I’m sure it’ll soon be all the rage.
(If I could, I’d add my own “old man yelling at clouds” meme here…) 😛

It can't be helped. Humans need to progress.
Think of how people felt when agricultural technology advanced. What took really hard work and skill was no longer valuable. I think every time tech and the world advance, some one and something get left behind to make way for something else.

Content credentials is also a digital fingerprint. Adobe will now know if the video is rendered with a legal copy or a pirated app.

This is awesome
AI is another tool...simply put. I am most excited for the light VFX work possibilities. This will provide significantly more budget to the actual VFX, Sound Design and Music budgets which a make a film a film.
I believe I had some problems with the current Audio AI in Premiere. Whenever I used it, the whole program would crash and lock up. When I took it all out, no crashes. Yes, it could be so many other things, but my sense and experiment suggested that keeping a cleaned up clip in the timeline caused the problem.
Be great to hear if anyone else had this problem.
I ended up having to use the external Podcast AI, which worked better if anything, but which I had to pay for, as it is no longer free to subscribers, it seems.
If this works 10% of the time as hyped, it will work better than 90% of Adobe announced new features. Even in their own demo, removing that electrical box. Look how awful and smudgy the replaced area is - you could do way better 10 years ago with Mocha Pro and skill, let alone now. I mean when it will work, great, but counting on it is a solid path toward career destruction and client lawsuits.
In fact, things generated by Adobe are very blurry. I really don't understand it. It's the 5G era now. Can't Adobe really afford to pay bandwidth fees? From China.
How do you do your glowing text ?
I'll believe it when I see it. Adobe has a lot to fix before adding in goofy new features.

Mask out the car, then cut up the frames every other or 2 or so on the overlay. He made some of the mask frames blank (black) and added a glitch effect over other frames. I don't use Premiere, but I'm sure you could accomplish the same look with directional blur and a glitch photo from Google as an overlay (mess with the blending modes for whatever looks best)

Same amount. Everyone likes to reframe, replace and even relight. Its just another tool that feeds those but will also help those of us who actually plan ahead.
