Thank you for sharing this. My family has stayed at the Island Inn for our annual family reunion since the 1950's, and I haven't been able to go for several years, but it's nice to see just how many changes and updates they've done. I have so many great memories from there...
We are going next month. Unfortunately, I think our room is second floor all the way to the right, so no balcony? Kinda bummed about that, but I guess I can walk down with my coffee in the mornings and sit outside.
The grounds are pretty nice with chairs around the place so if you don't have a balcony, I am sure you can find a nice spot to drink your coffee and listen to the ocean.
So sad that Island Inn is not dog friendly. On an island that is dog centric this was my choice until I researched that they do not allow dogs. Bummer 🤨

Which room were you in? My husband and I are headed there in 81 days!
Which building are you in?
I believe this trip we were in the Kimball Lodge
Thank you for your response

That is a bummer. I am sorry to hear that.
