You have developed quite a nice relationship with all the rickshaw drivers, which I also think is nice for them. I particularly enjoyed the clicking sounds of Nana when she was taking you over the streets, keeping up with the traffic which didn't seem to be noisy at all. The changing light was also a treat, so many beautiful images. Take care.

Nana-chan is very cool, i enjoy her energetic and talkative and funny moments. i really like the video the christmas vibes from the lights of the trees it was amazing, also funny to see the similar train station as Amsterdam, i see it almost daily is very nice building and maybe it looks small on the picture but is in fact a big station. you would really enjoy it here too the exploring.

According to one CZcams channel who rode Nana Chan's rickshaw. She would graduate from her University by March and that was last month. I would assume she is no longer working for Tokyo Rickshaw.

Speaking of which, Antarctica is not the first place that comes to mind when you talk about touristic destinations but the good thing about it is that you don't have to worry about crowds.
9:17 : Yes, that's the place. Unfortunately, there isn't much left of 江戸城。I knew the old parts of the building had been damaged in the fires of 1657 and 1873, then finally replaced by the 宮殿 in the late 1880's but I still wanted to see what it looked like and went down there out of curiosity. Near Kasumigaseki station, I met with a very friendly and knowledgeable elderly lady who once worked as a guide and told me a lot about the history of Edo Castle as we walked to 桜田門、from its construction under the Uesugi Clan to its glory days under the Tokugawa. That's kind of a shame that such a significant piece of Japanese history was not preserved by the Emperor after the Restoration, however understandable given the aversion of the imperialists for the Tokugawa at the time and their willingness to put the Shogunate behind them once and for all.
13:55 - 14:03 : Is that right ? I always assumed TBS stood for Tokyo Broadcasting System. 15:52 : That can't have fallen on deaf ears. By this time next year, I bet 奈々さん will have crowds of suitors rushing down to 浅草 to ride her rickshaw. 18:47 : Should you ever find yourself around these parts again, you might want to stretch your legs and go take a walk around 日比谷公園。It's a bit different from other typically Japanese parks but quite beautiful, especially during autumn. 29:18 : さすがたろさん、😉。Can't get more European than that. I believe it was designed by Tatsuno Kingo, the engineer who also made the plans for the Bank of Japan building and the old Manseibashi station.

If I ever have the opportunity to go on another rickshaw ride away from home, I would like to stop by some of the places that look interesting.

太郎さん動画のはじめぐらいに皇居の話をしてましたが皇居はもともと旧江戸城の一部で現在東京駅や警視庁などがある霞ヶ関エリアも旧江戸城のしきちで江戸時代には沢山の矢倉や徳川の歴代の将軍が暮らした屋敷やおうくなどがあって現在の皇居の建物の近くには旧江戸城の天守台がのこっていたり二重橋がのこっていたり沢山の門や矢倉も当時のままのこされています。もちろん皇宮警察や宮内庁の警備が厳しきて見れない場所も沢山ありますが一度は行くといいかもしれないですね。ちなみに東京九段下にある日本武道館や靖国神社がある二の丸公園や千鳥ヶ淵も実は旧江戸城のしきちの一部でした！あと現在の有楽町駅周辺や新橋駅周辺には徳川家のけらいたちの屋敷が沢山あったり大岡越前之上忠助の屋敷やぶぎょうしょがあったそうです。ちなみに現在の日比谷公園は伊達政宗公の屋敷が当時あり伊達政宗公は仙台城に帰る前に屋敷に立ち寄り何日か過ごしたのちそのまま日比谷の屋敷でねむるように70才で亡くなられたそうです。ちなみに大岡越前之上忠助は徳川８代将軍徳川吉宗公の右うでとして活躍した現在でいう裁判官です。
