in 2000 i went to Casino in Berlin, the Berghain at that time, and evrybody was blonde and 2 meters tall, though Terrence Dixon was playing , ho is black, i dont know, im thrilled to know if its a mixed crowed, black, hispanic, ect ,ect,,, it would be weird that they have black djs playing for a rascit white crowd......

This club looks amazing, cant wait to go next month!!!! Ive read loads of reviews that say if your British its really hard to get in and they ask you questions in german on the door - if you cant answer them coz you dont speak german you get turned away?!? Dont know whether these are just rumours but im going with my boyfriend but dont want to spend hours queuing if we are going to get turned away. Is this true???????

for sure it's not because your language, that you didn't get in, at berghain there are always people from everywhere not just from Germany. you'll now why they do a so strong selection at the door just when you'll get the first time in

If your name not Dan -- you aint coming in
the door policy in berghain/ panoramabar is notorious. be prepared to know who is playing on the night and don't arrive too early! they try and keep a certain vibe in the club so they don't allow anyone in who maybe aren't right.

@brpatoo From your post I can tell why the bouncers wouldn't let you in. Did you show up in your Armani suit and matching sunglasses? ;) No one I know has ever had trouble getting in. The bouncers are assholes to see how you react. If you react badly they know not to let you inside. Us Berliners are very direct and to other cultures it might seem like we are being assholes but really we're just being us.

you don't realise what your dealing with... I'm from France and I can tell Berlin is the best city for nightclubs. It isn't about girls, or even the beauty of the place, it is only about music, pure music. if Sven Marquardt didn't let you in, it's because you haven't got the profil, and i assume he was right, because you don't seem to be open minded enough to feel the freedom that allow you to be who you are in berlin

Berghain, going to get slated for saying this, but I got in, and didn't like it - and I love clubbing! The music is just the same as any other underground house/techno/tech-house club, booming away for days, the atmosphere is a druggy gay after- hours vibe, not really a hedonistic vibe, more just seedy and horrible, loads of people off their tits on pills. It's not racist in any way shape or form though, it was a mix of all races, gender, nationalities from what we could see.
