From the composer Mensah Dowaana Samuel: “My Inspiration for composing this master piece come from God first, then realising that it's the King's Silver Jubilee, I decided to combine 3 languages (Dagbani, Asante Twi and English) to signify “unity”.
“Dagbani because myself and the Tamale Youth Choir came from Tamale and so we presented something great from there…
“Then “twi” because that's the language of the Asantehene, and since twi is a common language, then English because it’s Ghana's national language and putting these three together, anyone who listens to the piece will get to understand a bit of what's being sang, a blend of 3 languages to bring the message of unity amongst all and to proclaiming His legacy as King, some portions of the music (english part) expressing his great legacy in proverbial mediums and praying for God's grace upon the Great King.“
