I'm putting some together today. Had to come look to see which way the shelf is suppose to sit. Thanks, I see I got it right!
Clips are not closing simply, I hit the frustrated level.
Thanks for reaching out. The shelf clips will NOT close completely - they should have a space between the two halves to allow for compression when the shelf is placed atop them. That said, be sure that the clips are resting IN one of the grooves on the post (slide the clip up and down the post until you feel it snap into place on the groove). If they are not, they will slide off when the shelf is set on them. Please let us know if you still need assistance.
@@ShelvingIncorporated I figured it out. I was putting the shelves on backwards. Sometimes you have to take a break and just watch you tube for the answers!😂
Thank you miss Black, I had the same issue but now I understand how they work.
Omg this was my same issue. I'm going to try it again when I go back to my office tomorrow 😩
I am a pro at assembling these shelves now😂😂😂. I have put up three more shelves since this initial post was made.
I have a set of the large casters, not the threaded ones. How do I remove the threaded insert that the leveling feet go into?
Can this shelf be double stacked with another shelf like this?
The shelves will not slide over the plastic clips, the clips do not even slide into the shelves without the tube inside. Watched the video and they made it look like it slides on so easily. Is it possible we got parts that are the wrong size?
Please make sure that the clips are resting IN one of the notches/grooves on the post (slide the clip up and down the post until you feel it snap into place on the groove). If they are not, the shelf will not fit over the shelf clips.
My shelf is wobbling like a cradle, and all the shelfs just sit over the clips, even after all the pressing and pushing they don't go over the clips as shown in the pictures. Can I replace the clips with something else? Please help 🙏
These are crap the clips don't wedge into place going back ASAP
Really would of helped if you mentioned the clips say top front and are thinner up top and thicker going downward which is why the clips must say top so the shelf slides down and stays in place. Spent all this time because the shelves kept falling through. Thanks ugh
If your clips are old regardless what you try, they are not going to stay still. Avoid it it's awful
I had no problems assembling the unit except for the "#5" instruction for installing the washer/anchor/screw assemblies ..the diagram seems to show the screw going through the wire side of the shelf but I can't see how that would giver anything to screw it into ..?
We would be happy to help! Can you please elaborate on what you mean by washer/anchor/screw?
I am putting a unit together I want to know if all the clips are the same sizes.
Our wire shelving posts have a 1" diameter and use these shelf clips: www.shelving.com/1-Diameter-Shelf-Clips-4-Pack-p/si-apsc.htm. However, we also offer 3/4" diameter shelf clips for customers who have existing 3/4" posts.
The assembly is ridiculous. If I ever get another one it will have to be assembled at the store,. I have spent an hour on three separate nights this week and still don't even have the bottom shelf on correct. I get one part right and then another part slips off. If a try a tool, I try will be a sledge hammer.
