Purchased a new Lunagazer j2401 in 2009. Initially lived in it for 8 months whilst we built our current house and since then have had a number of extensive trips around our great country. We live in Darwin and consequently our trips involve significant miles. Our tow vehicle is a 6 cylinder Crewman which handles the towing task superbly. Over our ownership period the van has not put a step wrong. It is a dream to tow and on the Crewman l have not had to add any extra towing devices. It is one of the very early models and is fitted with hydraulic brakes which have proved to be more than adequate. No doubt the subsequent models that have been released since we purchased ours have varied improvements.which l guess makes these vans even better again. If you are considering the purchase of a van l highly recommend the Jurgens based on our 10 years
