This is the absolute best review and how to convert that I've seen on CZcams. So glad I found your channel. I just subbed. Last week I just purchased this pouch in the black and silver hardware. It's so beautiful! I ordered a chain to convert to a crossbody when I'd like. I'm so happy I made this YSL purchase. I know I'll love it more when I receive silver chain in the mail I ordered off Amazon for $9. Thank you for showing us all the clever ways to use the chain. I agree with you....I'd rather not use an insert. I spend enough money and want to use it as is, and I don't want the insert inside getting in the way or limiting any space even though it's very minimal. Thank you so much 😊 💕

Thank you! It’s from my Furla mini Bella bag, it detaches so I use on my wishlist sometimes. You can find something similar on Amazon though, I linked the thicker ones so there should be other options available :)

i purchased the recommended chain using the link for amazon. I can't get the clutch leather strap from my ysl clutch to fit through the hook of the chain as shown in the video. Was wondering if anyone else had this issue? I don't want to go the route of buying the insert with the grommets. I liked the suggestion of using the clutch strap and connecting to the far side. Sorry if that is confusing

I think this would only happen if you wear it every day (or too often) and with a lot of stuff in the bag making it heavy. Mine looks new still!

@@sialee5926 sure, you can do that by holding the flap with one hand while your other hands grabs what you need from the inside. Since the chain is not attached to both sides (with a felt insert for example), you must hold the flap while you do it. The insert takes up a lot of space, so I decided to go without it
