it would be a lot more expensive though. I think that's the main reason why theres less luxury features on the US version, they still need to keep a reasonable price point for non luxury car brand.

@@hornet99923 If you’re concerned about space, I’d recommend getting a SUV. If you want something more economic, I’d just compare other brands and find one that suits your needs if it’s too small for Honda.
The US got the watered down version because Honda wants the US to buy Acura.

Honda's interior quality is amazing. I have a 2010 Odyssey with 160,000 miles that has done its rough hauling for family and friends. If I give it a detailing, the interior looks BRAND NEW. Not a single worn-out surface or interface (unlike my Infiniti's infamous armrest and steering wheel), and everything just "works." Honda has come a long way over the past two decades (they were reasonably good before that). Today, their interior materials and design are top-class. Well done!

The only thing that harms our vehicles from the inside and outside is the extreme heat in the Middle East. My 2015 Honda Odyssey After 200k kilometers has only the armrests on the front doors torn, but the rest of the car’s interior is in almost factory condition. I agree with you that Honda has excelled in the quality of the materials used. @@MrMlbfan6

I love the heating controls. They look great. And they have the bigger sunroof, but like someone said they want you to buy an Acura . far as the car goes it looks good. I love the backend, but the front not so much.

They made it look too much like the Civic. The previous Accord model was better, but this cars interior is definitely better.

Very nice but I think I like the 10th gen a little better. This one is starting to go a little more squared and industrial for my tastes but it's definitely not bad at all yet. Aside from that min screen in the temp control area. That's beautiful! Outside looks great I'm liking that part a lot. Though I keep thinking the new Accords and Civics are Volkswagens in person.

this car is considered a luxury vehicle outside of the US, because most other countries do not get Acura. If you want nice from Honda, you buy an Acura. The lack of features here justifies Acura's existence, while also justifying nice Honda's in places that don't get Acura versions of cars, in this instance, China.
@@lordmeme_ Curious, how much does this Accord cost in China? Because the top trim Accord in the US is already over $40k usd which isn't cheap and incidentally the same price an Acura TLX starts at.

American accord buyers should feel cheated. Cause Lanewatch is in this version. Honestly id rather have a camera before a tiny light to see my blind spots. Its just dependable and simply works

Wait hold up why is this accord so much nicer than the 11th gens we get here in the states!
Because this is for the Chinese market. It was the same thing with the 10th gen if you compare them. They have many differences. The Accord model is considered a luxury car outside of the U.S. They won’t add all of these features to the U.S. version because Honda wants you to buy an Acura (their luxury brand in the U.S.) in order to obtain all of these features. It’s somewhat irritating because nothing major really change from the 10th gen to the 11th gen Accord in the U.S. Most of the features you see in this China version should’ve came standard in the U.S. version as well.
Honda is seen as a cheap reliable car in the states. So honda will not put all the bells and whistles because Americans will still thinking it’s a cheap reliable car.
In China Honda is a Japanese product (it’s fancy for them) and that interior will support that image.
Or maybe Honda doesn’t think in the US as a good market anymore.( who would care about the only country that sets mandatory GU embarrassing exams for our teen boys just to allow them to play sports)
America is a joke now ( look at the current president)

One thing I hate about Honda absolutely hate about Honda the lack of power. No Honda has 300hp. Not even there top elite performance model. Even the new Toyota crown has 340 hp. I could never ever see myself purchasing another Honda ever again. Honda motors company you need to step your game up. You need a performance model point blank.
