Stephen King wrote many books but one was called Needful Things.
They called him Mr. Needful to use as a verbal tie and reference to Stephen King and his book (which is also a movie).
You will miss a lot from not reading the book but the movie gives an ok idea of what the book is about.
I'd tell you about it but it would just ruin your enjoyment and that isn't cool.
I think this is something you should discover for yourself.

I kind of understood Summer's reasoning for siding with the Devil first.
He did treat her like a person, he didn't expect anything out of her but still gave her respect in return. Where as Rick never respected Summer at all or at least that's how it felt to Summer up until the nearing end of this episode when he went out of his way to help her.. in an odd way maybe but still lol
Yeah that's true like Rick by this point only treats Morty and Beth with any type of care or decency, the former not all that much. He treats Summer kinda like a bother and with how he acts in general it make sense she wouldn't care much for Rick. Though with how she said "I like you" kinda did feel off tbh. Especially when she talked about teenagers and her tone.
And she's also right, at best if you want a job. You are lucky to find one who doesn't itself directly violate any human rights. They might have to buy and use the products for said violation of human rights. But that's the best you can hope for. This world is so messed up you can't even eat chocolate with a clear conscience.
I really like how he takes the show seriously in a way cause the later seasons have more plot driven episodes

in the first seasons of the show summer was the perfect exemple of the young people brainwashed by society, this is why rick didn't liked her. you see she choose the litteral devil over her grandad because he is a "legitimate" business owner and an employer, and she see her grandpa as a freeloading jobless. giving more credit to the represantation of work montality as evil as it get over family and intelligence, society brainwash to a T.
Tbh I always just thought Rick might've found her boring and uninteresting but I do like this as a deeper reasoning. But tbh watching the episode, she do seem pretty brainwashed.

Season 4+ was all downhill. Now Rick and Morty no longer has the spark it started with. Thank god South Park still maintains the same quality and effort as it's earlier seasons. Last bastion of animated tv shows.

They don’t need AI tech, Justin’s voices are super easy to impersonate and there’s already someone way before Justin got fired that does a perfect impersonation, to the point where Justin himself said he can’t tell the difference
