Crank Truing Stand - Vespa & Lambretta Crankshaft Tru Stand - Is your crankshaft fit for purpose?
What is the point in spending £-thousands on engine builds and not checking the components before building? How can you rebuild an existing engine and not check the crank? Crank tru stands are not expensive, certainly, every commercial outlet should have a set, but even at local and club level... engine builders should be able to measure their work. Even if you yourself don't wish to do the truing work, no point in fitting twisted webs into a new engine!

Interesting video, that’s a great piece of kit indeed, but would have been so much better and much more beneficial if you had of shown us complete novices how to actually use it and true up a crank. Was wondering what needs to be done to calibrate the stand? Because the diameters on both sides of the crank are different… is there a way to set it up?
