  • Australian mango farmers have perfected their farming techniques to produce tons of high-quality mangoes each year. Mango trees are primarily grown in the tropical or subtropical regions of Northern Territory, Queensland, and Western Australia. The process of mango production involves careful cultivation, harvesting, sorting, and packing to ensure the fruit is of the highest quality. After pollination, the fruit takes several months to mature and is usually ready for harvest in late spring or early summer. Mangoes are harvested by hand and sorted according to size, color, and quality before being packed into crates or boxes for transportation to markets and export. Australian mango farmers use modern agricultural technology and sustainable farming practices to ensure high crop yields and nutritious produce. Their farming secrets have not only contributed to the agriculture industry but have also helped sustain rural communities. The export of Australian mangoes to many countries, including Japan, China, and the United States, showcases the success of their farming innovations.

Good info! One important technology not mentioned is the use of ultra high dense (and almost espaliered) planting and maintaining low heights of the trees, esp. in some of the Queensland farms. It would have been nice if there was a mention/breakdown of the various mango varieties produced.

Thank you for the feedback and you are right on that front. We did not get into detail as to the varieties as that could be a video by itself, especially when looking into grafting. Definitely, we are open to discussing these topics and, if our viewers want, we will create content on it.
