The Quran is traditionally written in the eastern Arabian dialect of Classical Arabic. Ironically Muhammad would have spoken the western dialect ofClassical Arabic originating from Mecca, so there is already an element of translation inherent in the Quran.
Quran was sent down by mouth to the prophet over 23 years by angel gibrel it was never in a book and this is what the quran mentions
“al hayat” (life), 145 times; “al mawt” (death), 145 times
“al-dunya” (mundane life), 115 times; “al akhira” (the afterlife), 115 times
“malaika” (angels), 88 times; “shayatin” (demons), 88 times
“ar rajul (man), 24 times; “al mar’a (woman), 24 times
“as salihat (good deeds), 167 times; “as sayya’at” (wrong doings), 167 times
“qul” (say), 332 times; “qalu” (said), 332 times
“an nas” (people), 50 times; “an nabiya” (prophets), 50 times
“al muslimat” (Muslim women), 41 times; “al muslimin” (Muslim men), 41 times
Iblis is mentioned 11 times and seek refuge from iblis is mentioned 11 times
"yawma-izhin" (That day), 70 times; "qiyama" (Judgment day), 70 times
Disbelief 17 times - belief 17 times
"dunya" (near), 115 times; "akhira" (far), 115 times
"shitaa" (winter), 1 time; "sayf" (summer), 1 time
"Isa" (Yahushua), 25 times; "Adam", 25 times
al-Fatihah in itself has 7 verses, 3.5 dedicated towards our praise of the Omnipotent, and the next 3.5 dedicated towards our prayers to the Omnipotent.The words “salawat” (prayers) and "aqimis-salah" (establish prayer) are mentioned 5 times in the Quran, the same as the number of mandatory daily prayers.The word "alwan" (colors) is written 7 times, the same as the number of colors of the rainbow.The words "samawat" + "sab" (heavens + seven) are written together 7 times, the same as the number of heavens described in the Quran.There are 365 days in a year. The word "yawm" (day in singular) is written exactly 365 times.There are 12 months in a year. The word "shahr" (month in singular) is written exactly 12 times: [2:185] [2:194] [2:217] [5:2] [5:97] [9:36] [97:3]
The Quran says there are seven heavens above us, sometimes described as seven layers (23:17). We are in the lowest of these layers (دنيا), so the Quran is basically saying that there are six layers "above" the one we are in. The phrase ‘seven heavens’ is used in the whole Quran exactly seven times: 2:29, 41:12, 65:12, 67:3, 71:15, 17:44, and 23:86.[citation needed]
The words "Sea" and "Land" are used 32 and 13 times respectively in the Quran. 32 plus 13 equals 45, and the two words make up 71.1 and 28.9 percent respectively of those 45. These percentages roughly correspond to what we today know the proportion of the Earth's surface made up of water and land to be.
"Human being" is used 65 times: the sum of the number of references to the stages of man's creation is the same:

Its a red flag if any ideology convinces you to call people who are not your actual family a familial descriptor like "brother" or "sister" or "father". Its immoral to usurp familial connection by someone outside of your family or you to grant them that signifier because that is disrespectful to your own family members and their connection to you.
Its also a very clear sign of sect brainwashing.

One of the reasons we are wasting the prayer is because (for those of us who don’t speak Arabic) we don’t actually understand it word for word. Once we learn to translate it then it will be a big step in helping us to not waste it.

@тхе иксцкл 1. yes that’s right I agree with those points. There is good in every situation. Allah knows best and he does everything for a good reason. 2. I know how to read but you didn’t understand my point maybe. I can read but I can’t translate like an Arab. Arab does not need to translate. My point was for those whose tongue is not Arabic and they can’t translate. For them it’s harder and I find that most just go through the motions of prayer without thinking about what they are reciting during salah.
@тхе иксцкл you are still not understanding my point. Maybe I have to explain even more clearly. The video is talking about wasting our prayers. And I’m saying one reason for this is because non Arab speaking people have difficulty because they can’t translate the words naturally. Some words maybe but not all or even most and certainly not naturally.
So when we are praying we can’t use our phone to look at Quran.com or whatever app to look at the translations, can we? That’s why we need to learn Arabic language as well as to be able to recite it. Hope that makes it clearer.

@@zoeanaam.6996 yes sister, that’s what I have done with a few surahs and I am trying to learn Arabic but until I have a good level of the language it is harder. However, I’m talking about people in general not about me alone.
Learning the translations is good but and a step in the right direction but learning the language is much better. Do a survey, ask your friends if they actually understand every word that they recite during prayer. You will be shocked.

Please learn to dissect, the Quran is the most beautifully written book in the universe(even that’s an understatement) often we analyze poems and literature to understand meaning, we must treat the Quran similarly or at a even higher level complexity in order to understand its verses and so within gain humility.

@@tibianelnair8714 the problem over the years has been the quality and shallowness of translations but now masha Allah we have the great Nouman Ali Khan to thank for his brilliant translations. He is the one I have needed all this time. Other translations often still didn’t make sense to me.

@@mdarshad417 thanks for your reply. Incompetent is a derogatory term it would have been nicer to say inability. Apologies if I offended you though but I didn’t mean to say that previous translations were bad. Just not enough for me. Also those translations probably had reasons for being shallow. Eg maybe they had to keep it short otherwise the book would have been too big. Indeed if there was a Quran with translations by NAKhan then it would be pretty big. Yes there are plenty of other very good translators but I just find NAKhan to be the best IMO.

I used to be a good person. Honestly, I always felt ashamed what I used to do in my past and kept doing some of them to this day that I don't even dare looking around any corner while praying. My head is just pointed towards the ground and doesn't dare to move. That's how ashamed I've felt. But nowadays, I don't even have a glimpse of a bad feeling. I don't do bad things but I've feel like I've distanced myself from my religion. I wish to be as productive of my imaan as possible and hopefully something will be able to change me in the very future inshallah. ❤

Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears.

All these "youre actually supposed to"s and "you should acutally"s dont really motivate me. Theyre just showung me how wasted i am. Theres a way to find back to Allah but i dont know if its that easy.
This kind of makes ne think that i would never be able to become a true believer. I know that im in a bad spiritual state and that nobodys to blame except me but... Those rare (sweet) moments of going for a walk around a lake asking Allah for forgiveness. Are they for nothing? Because im not in sajdah crying my soul out of my body because im so overwhelmed by the quran? Even though im far away from Allah, do those moments not show belief amongst every thought of distraction that in my mind?
