I bought this, (The Glock) and it’s good. I’ve had to open it up a few times because of bent parts, but pretty easy fixes. I painted the gun for short film use and I am really happy with it. Makes a good budget prop for films.
With things like those, it kinda makes me curious if you can do tear-downs/mod videos of their internals. There's probably 2 or 3 springs in there that does shell ejection and blowback action. If that's the case; if that thing gets turned into a fidget toy substitute, you'd probably wear out the mechanism and need to replace some internal components. Also, I believe those "toys" don't look like 1:1 scale replicas. It's absurd, but I like it anyway. 👍
Yeap this is definitely not a 1:1 scale, I've never held a 1:1 before, but based on the feed backs on some of my viewers, it is slightly smaller. By the way, I probably might do a tear down, but I would like to wait for another similar one to arrive 1st and see how it goes, because that one can actually fire foam darts.

When the slide is locked all the way back, if you insert a fresh mag in and rack the slide, will the slide slide back? Or do you have to press the slide release? Fun!! Are the rounds all the same size? Are the mags a generic cross-compatible design, or is the Glock a double-stack mag and the Colt a single-stack mag? (Curious because you said they only hold 8 rounds... a real Glock would hold more)
I'm a fully grown adult but I love toys like this, I mostly get things like this as a fidget toy (and sometimes I do play with them...) I'm more of a 1911 guy but I'll probably get the Glock. The 1911 just isn't proportionally correct and it bothers me. Glock looks much better compared to it's real counterpart.
Is the 1911 bigger or smaller than the real one? Not a gun guy btw but these really caught my attention the other day, just not sure if Australian customs will take it if I try to buy and ship it here :/
@@B1-997 I believe it's actually about the size of a real one. The Glock that I got is pretty close, if not 1-1 scale, so the 1911 should also be close to 1-1 scale. But if you take a look at the rear of the 1911, the toy is a bit fatter than the real one. The rear where the grip safety and hammer should be is slightly longer than it should be compared to the real one. It's kinda hard to explain. Just look up images of a 1911, and compared them to the toy, you'll see that the rear of the toy is a bit off proportionally. Also, I'm unsure about shipping items like these toys in Australia, I'm unaware of the laws. I guess the best way to do it is to try to buy it, and if it lets you then you should be good. Usually it will say where and where it cannot ship to certain locations. Or you could also look up the laws on prop weapons.
Got the Glock today and man it's so fun to play around with it, the slide lock, reloading the gun, and shooting it is just fun! I don't even have to worry where i'm shooting at since it's only shell ejecting Also, i got the version with a laser on the barrel do you or anyone know how to replace the batteries on the laser just incase it ran out of battery?
Nice buddy, I am glad that you enjoy the glock, by the way the laser version should came with an instruction on how to change the battery. Basically it requires you to take the slider off in order to access the battery.

You seem very self-conscious of your arms because they are small for your size. Just relax and its best to remember that no one cares that much. You also wear the shirt with tight sleeves to help hide/disguise the insecurity, but that only makes you think about it more. As you get older you learn not to care about things that others don't care about. If you went to the gym it would help you overcome it more effectively, and ironically would require less consistent energy. But truly, no one but you is focused on your arms. They are easy to miss, so your insecurity it technically your ally/friend!

Yesterday I came to know that these two guns can also fire but their darts are quit different and small also, they can fire semi auto without any battery
I remember when things like these were sold with overly expensive price and marketed as firearm training tools. Now we can Access these toys fairly easily with reasonable price. The china airsoft ban might be a bummer, but it also leads companies into making creative high quality toys instead of sticking with the cheap springer airsoft meta

Hmm, I believe it might not work because it will requires some sort of a hammer striking mechanism to hit the spring loaded plastic dart in the shell
