- Are Filipino people good basketball players? Being from America, I love that basketball is the most popular sport in Philippines. On my first day in the Philippines I walk around the neighborhood in which I'm, staying known as Guadalupe Nuevo (Makati). I catch a 1 on 1 basketball game with a local guy who manages to beat me. I walk in the local market area and stop for some food known as Beef Mami. I grab a donut from Mister Donut after my meal. It was fun talking to local Filipino people along my walk through town. Filipino people are very good basketball players and very welcoming and I have experienced so much love in this country thus far.

Lots of nice condos in manila in a really nice clean neighborhood for under $25. I was staying in one in Mandaluyong high rises on the 55th floor 2 years ago. very nice mall downstairs, lots of stores outside and inside, no need to go that local where you have to walk far to get to a nice cafe and restaurants or malls.

@@myertravels ur welcome. Not sure how long you’re staying? I think you can get up to 59 days visa free. You can do it in selected malls ie SM Aura, Ayala Circuit City Mall, some Robinson’s malls etc. No need 2go2 Intramuros office which have long lines.

I really love this kind of raw vlog. Talk, walk, explore, interaction with locals, and trying out local food. Hope you do more metromanila and up north vlog cos I think Philippine beaches mostly the southern part has been vlogged many many times by many many vloggers and it's kinda tiring now.

if you want to find filipino food just ask the local if where you can find a carinderia.. carinderia is like a cheap version of expensive restaurant but you can still find good food and 100% authentic filipino dish

metro manila is very congested with scooters, people, jeeps buses, tricycles or tuktuks as you are aware of from other southeast asian countries. most foreign vloggers just stay only a couple of days in manila and some even just get a connecting flight directly to cebu, palawan, bohol, dumaguete, siargao etc. etc. where the beauty of the islands are witnessed. forget about boracay, its also crowded like manila. palawan is the best specially el nido, coron, port barton and the island hopping tours. but beware of limited and very slow wifi on the islands. best wifi is in manila. enjoy.

hoops is huge in the ph (fanatic lvl, almost like a religion). it's a way of livin for some (like literally, ppl bet money. that's how they earn). if u was listenin to the kid, he was saying something abt "dayo" which mean someone who isn't from the neighborhood (the away team). ppl would go to other hoods to challenge local crews in money games. they were planning on challenging u right b4 u left HAHA

You stayed at the inner district modest area of manila....it's a modest residential area not really a tourist area to begin with hence small roads, modest houses etc..
It's not a central location..
Metro manila got multiple dense and massive skyscrapers and skylines than Kuala Lumpur..
Even the best areas within KL can't even resemble BGC in manila alone.
pls do some research before you conclude and judged a country
Yes I learned that as I went along, but I really enjoyed these areas and met a lot of great people. I also will be showing the other sides of Manila in videos to come with Massive skyscrapers and Business districts. But to be honest I enjoy these areas more as the people are very welcoming. Trust me I am not judging, I truly love the Philippines.
