  • After messing around in the training room I have come to the conclusion that Bayonetta 3 combos are pretty wicked! That said I wish the enemy's in the training room had infinite health for longer combos. I think I could have turned up the difficulty and it would have given the enemy's more health but, I didn't think about it while recording.

    Does it have to make sense?
    Absolutely not.

    How are you so good with G-Pillar? It feels awkward when I use it, any tips? For stylish combat at least because I love G-Pillar's masquerade a lot and its other movesets.

      I would honestly say just go into the training room and mess around with it for a while. It feels weird trying to combo with it because its really slow.
      Using the right after you jump attacks (I don't know what they are called) Is really helpful for filling in long gaps inbetween normal attacks. And once you've used it alot you start to realize how big some of the attacks hitboxes are which allows you to connect things you wouldn't think you would be able to.

      Like pressing A immediately after jumping. It’s one of the skills you can unlock. Bayo turns G-Pillar around and launch’s herself and the enemy up. It’s one of G-Pillars quicker moves

    Is it only me, or Bayo 1 and 2 was a LOT crazyer combos then Bayo 3?

    • @Secret_Boots
      @Secret_Boots  Před rokem +7

      These were combos I made from experimenting with all the different weapons for like an hour and a half. There are definitely some more focused videos from other people you can find that do a lot crazier stuff then this.
      That said in general though I do agree that the first two games allowed for some more nutty looking combos.

    • @karmiccrotal3480
      @karmiccrotal3480 Před rokem +3

      Possibly, but I think the crazier combos for Bayo 3 lies within using the Demon Slave moves mid combo

      Some of the moves can only be bought once you’ve bought certain other moves for that weapon including attacks for the infernal demon.

      If you look on the description some moves can't be unlocked unless you've done a certain move but so many times. Most are easy to do and don't really require an enemy around.

    Too bad this is all wasted potential. It's lovely to showcase the combat system against one opponent in a clear space. In practice, this level of finesse never happens because there are five grunts attacking you with no visual or auditory cues, two giant monsters onscreen slamming you with attacks you can't see coming, and a camera you're constantly fighting with and readjusting because you can't even see what you're doing-- let alone where all your enemies are in all of the visual chaos going on. This is something that Bayonetta has struggled with from the beginning, but this game seems to have it the worst.

      @@someonewhoyoudontknow6112 Yeah. I prefer fighting games where you're engaging one opponent at a time and can focus in more narrowly. However, I also enjoy the beat 'em up genre, despite not being as good at it. I enjoy Bayonetta 3, but I prefer the first game's system of enemies having clearer visual and auditory cues, so you could even dodge attacks happening out of your field of vision if you were observant enough. Bayonetta 2 was still pretty good that way, but I'm finding these Homunculi enemies don't do a good job of clearly telegraphing their attacks, which becomes a problem when you're attempting to manage your field of vision and your attacks between them.
