    I prefer the anime personally because it seems more like Light
    All throughout the anime and Manga we see Light perfectly fine with The idea of dying he gives rem permission to kill him if misa isn't saved and also in the beginning of the anime, he makes a comment to ryuk Saying it's either I get executed or I deal with a house fire showing that he's aware he will be executed if he's caught the main thing that I like about The anime ending is that his follower kills himself. In order for light to escape and light ends up going into a quiet place, probably knowing that Ryuk is going to kill him and he goes out in silence it just seems more like Light.

      @SKKaelth Před 10 dny

      I mean, you see him with all this composture when he has things under his control. What I saw was a coward who view himself as superior than everyone, and developed/nurtured this superiority/god complex when he accidentaly got access to otherworldly powers. You can see how he value his life over others in the way he uses Misa like a pawn, he didnt struck the eye deal himself and put her life on the line to get L. Despite claiming to be the best on that battle of wits with L, you see how he was actually outmatched and scared when he makes his first mistake, and how much trouble he got while having access to supernatural powers.
      And at the end of the day, it was all a facade, that so calm, fearless, godly and self righteous man, was, at the end of it, just a man. Light's hubris may be the reason Ryuk found his jouney amusing.

      She is like a family to him who he is with him for majority of his years
      Don't forget he is just a teenager, so he might misunderstand those feelings for family as romantic interest.
      And for crying over a girl you said , even if I got caught with a extreme crime and was decided to be executed by the court , I would probably cry thinking about my loved ones , how I am going to leave them alone
      Can't eren have that right?
      It's nothing out of character for eren to express his emotions openly, if you have been watching AOT from season 1 you would know that .. he was finally putting down his cold act with his best friend and I don't see any out of character moments in there

      @@jyothishlal3128 the thing is that Eren having emotions is fine, chapter 130/131 is loved for that. But didn’t eren show extreme emotion too in 121? When he was full of rage that Karl Fritz dared to take away his and his people’s freedom? Wasn’t Eren showing deep emotion with Ymir, when he freed her? Eren was always very emotional, but his maturity was to stop breaking down and instead handle it better. As for Eren’s breakdown, it makes no sense because Eren is the founder, he has all the power to do something. If he goes “I don’t want to die”, it’s hard to feel bad because he is literally a god and can change his fate.

    There's a fanfiction manga where, Light wakes up in the world of shinigami. Ryuk proceeds to tell him, that he promised him he can neither go to heaven nor hell, instead now he has to experience every death of every person he's ever killed which is 124925 people. Every suicide,heart attack, strangulation, hit by a truck, set on fire. Thats a really intresting ending ^^

    I thought of something the other day. If Mikami was as smart as Light he could have written Light's name in the notebook towards the end of his list and if people started dropping, scratch his name out before the note could kill him. If nobody drops then Light goes on to fight another day

    I think the thing which makes the change cool is the fact that it gives two different endings with different meanings allowing whoever views the series can choose which ending they see as fitting basically being the judge for Light Yagami, the same way he had judged others, and neither ending is better than the other both are really great.

    In anime it is said that anyone who uses death note he cant go to h3ll or heaven.... The d3ath on stairs signifies that light never made it to heaven(aka the top of the stair case) neither has went to h3ll(bottom of the staircase) also light many times said "this is h3ll" the world was h3ll and he took the stair case to heaven thinking he can escape h3ll but alao heaven is not in his fate this signifies that neither he went to h3ll or heaven
