      Many thanks, been searching for "what is anatomy and physiology studies?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Piayilliam Uncomplex Power - (do a google search ) ? It is a great exclusive guide for discovering how to become an expert in human anatomy and physiology without the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my partner got cool results with it.

      I am a first year medstudent now, and our professor is doing fuck all. He rushes through the bone and says "how long did that take me? 30 seconds? Now you go". He leaves the room and we stand there with our notes 30 seconds ago (literally blank pages). Sam Webster is a god damn GOD. I would a hundred percent fail my anatomy class (which means I get kicked out immediately from the university) if I did not have him. I have my first exam in 2 weeks, and I have no idea how I am gonna learn the 81 ligaments in just the wrist and hand, but hey - let`s just hope they don`t walk in with a wet hand. I`m just gonna start crying and pack my bags.

    Hello Dr.Sam. Thank you for the vidoes. They are very helpful. Small question,you know all the bones have muscles labled with numbers on them. Are the numbers universal. Any idea where we can refer to those numbers to know the muscle. Thank you

    • @SamWebster
      @SamWebster  Před 5 lety +8

      The models we use are made by Somso, and we buy them from Adam,Rouilly. Printed numbers should be consistent on the same models from Somso, but handwritten numbers are part of our inventory system. I recommend using an anatomy atlas alongside any model that you are studying. There's a learning effect in working out what is what on the model.

    I'm recovering (?) from a fall on to the wheel and frame of a rolling stool . It has been over a year. My thigh bone came out of the socket. I have had 2 MRIs done and it's still a mystery what happened. I also got a searing sudden burn up my glut when n I got up and was bent forward. I almost went into shock at that point. I had a bruise on the right side of where the two glutes meet. I was so swollen I was off balance lying down and yet could not sit or stand. It happened 6 weeks after the fall. Despite seeing Drs I was not given much support. The pain got so bad I was holding myself, bracing myself to sit. I got better on my own when I insisted to myself that I stand up straight after my hip vegan to tear more. The bone began to move in place fast . Compression and a walker were my insurance. I'm Not ok but rest is essential and walk so I'm able. Any thoughts? I am looking for a new back clinic.

    That is why the muscles have to be strong in order to move the leg in all directions because the resistance arm is many times longer than the force arm (the 3rd class lever mechanics). The iliopsoas major is a bit weird as it has to cross the pubic bone to insert onto the lesser trocantor, ouch!

    The one you explained was the neck shaft angle. Angle of inclination is angle between longitudinal axis of femur and longitudinal axis of tibia
