I have been watching tutorials for past day and a half, getting more or less confused. Then I found this one. AMAZING. You cleared up my confusion in 15 minutes. Instead of "show" you gave instruction. Thank you so much. This is the BEST explanation of the file management system in LR I have found. (after viewing at least 20 others) I have installed LR but was afraid to launch it because I had installed it and tried it once before only to screw up. I uninstalled it and the old catalog and then did a reinstall. Now I know what to do next. Thanks so much.

Great introduction! Question: how can I LR edit and share edits of photos on two different computers? Say I have saved my images on an external hard drive, should I just create a catalog and saved on a dropbox shared folder. Then when I edit photos on PC1 and save my catalog in that dropbox drive, can I use LR on the PC2 to open that catalog and all my edits histories with be synced?
