My heart went out to Aaron in these scenes - he was so broken and vulnerable. The way he talked about how Robert was the one who kept him going, that he didn't give up because of him, the little lip tremble and the way his voice broke when admitting to Paddy that he wanted to be more than a bit on the side but would settle for the way things were if it meant being with Robert - that is how good Danny Miller is - he completely pulls you in with his incredible portrayal of such a troubled character and it's heartbreaking to watch.
When Paddy says "don't you want to be more than a bit on the side?" Aaron's first "Yeah" at 1:39 is heartbreaking. The sad , yearning, breathy tone is perfect. Awesome job by Danny Miller.

As always Paddy and Aaron were amazing. Danny is fantastic, had me in tears. I felt so sad that Aaron is willing to be the one on the side to be with Robert. He deserves so much better than that.

But it's time that Chas takes Aaron at his word and acknowledges that this is his choice and he has to live with the consequences. Only he can decide that enough is enough. Usually I love Aaron and Paddy's chats, and Aaron really needed to unburden himself to someone uninvolved in the Katie drama so I'm glad that Paddy could be that for him, but knowing what I do about where Paddy will end up later on, all I can think while he's giving advice RE: Robert is "hypocrite, hypocrite!"

I like the drama. But when you love someone like Aaron loves Roberts he's willing to be his little secret. I do think Aaron deserves better. I wish someone would come on to the scene that takes a liking to Aaron and see how Robert would react doesn't have to be a long stay, I know it probably wont happen but a girl can hope.

glaspies I don't think Robert is crazy exactly. A bit of a sociopath yes but not out and out crazy. The character has always acted without thinking of the consequences. I think he would be very jealous if Aaron started seeing another guy, and I can only imagine what Robert would do to said guy.
What a great actor Danny Miller/ Aaron is ... when he says "he was the one who kept me going ... I could have given up but I didn't, because of him" it's one of the most moving scenes I've ever seen from a male actor ... his mouth quivers just like someone who is right on the edge, we feel his desperation and the emotions are so real, so genuine. It's a highlight of the Robert-Aaron story ... ever since Aaron first met Robert, the relationship has given Aaron's life meaning and a reason to keep going ... "to love and to be loved". Great stuff, Danny.
