Joshua Kimmich to arsenal is a story we have heard for a few weeks now but its only recently the Kimmich has come out and named only 5 clubs that he would even entertain joining and they are Barcelona, Real Madrid, liverpool, Man City, arsenal, so would you take Kimmich at arsenal and if so where does he fit in? would you take Kimmich if it means he plays as a rb and take ben whites position? or do you see Kimmich as more of a midfield option for arsenal?
also victor gyokores to arsenal is again being said is extremely close with reports arsenal are in advanced talks with gyokores but at £100m I would be very surprised if a deal is made as the news a lot of us are hearing is arsenal will not be signing a player in the 100m mark.

I didn't want Ramsdale to be benched for Raya. But Arteta made it happen.
And I rather not see Benny Blanco benched for Kimmich. Regardless of how good Kimmich is.
_But..._ We will be needing a defensive midfielder if Partey is going which is where I'd see Kimmich playing. But I'm not really sure if Kimmich would want to play DM. Playing as RB gives him more chance to push forwards with a DM and the two CB's sitting back. And if Benny Blanco is not on the pitch, who's going to be doing those overlapping runs for Saka? but would we need overlapping players? or would we pack the midfield but still keep Saka and Martinelli really wide to stretch their defence allowing gaps for the midfielders to go though?

Y’all want kimmic at arsenal, don’t forget about his weekly wages so I don’t think that will be possible coz I prefer fofana of Monaco or Onana with an upgrade of grooming with both having good wages den bring in Lewis skelly n nwaneri or loan both for first team loan so they can become good prospects in future
@@thegoonerfactory if arteta can groom kiwior to a number 6 DM like what guardiola did with stones, bring in a specialist CDM both Dm/Cm to complete the mid field, put a buy back clause on talented players leaving and wants to cash out on this season’s transfer then getting them back before or during their peak isn’t bad either in future

Remember when we had that Tierney-Xhaka-Smith Rowe Partnership and Xhaka was dropping back into LB when Tierney bombed forward? Imagine a massively upgraded version of Theo Hernandez - Kimmich - Martinelli. Kimmich would play that role amazingly imo. Doesn't really need to be left footed as he wouldn't be providing the overlap. Otherwise just playing him at the 6 would be amazing.

I don’t mind arteta n edu negotiating with Barca for vitor roque, Williams, loan xavi simons, kadioglu or hato of Ajax coz these are young prospects arsenal can work with or better still bring in arder guler in place of simons

His biggest strength is his tactical flexibility. You can play him typically as a DLP in the 6 of a 4-3-3 (or even DM or BWM depending on game state, a roaming playmaker or segundo volante in a double pivot such as 4-2-3-1, or of course a FB/IWB to utilize his crossing in any number of formations. His work rate, stamina, leadership, passing and vision are world class.

@@thegoonerfactory with other available options out there,if arteta wants a versatile striker then he should go for roque then with his ability n skills, groom him to be a better competition for tops clubs in various competitions like what guardiola is planning for all the youngsters he has on the bench to blend in with his current squad for the next season coz he has another set of trophies mapped for next season winnings before leaving city
I strongly bliv Gabriel Jesus can add a very good value to the squad with his injury record, take for example Julian Alvarez who was fully fit for the first quarter of the season all thru on d bench then look at what guardiola groomed him to be even while halaand was out injured, now teams are lining up to sign Alvarez even though guardiola is reluctant to let him leave

Isak for another £10-20m for me makes more sense. Kimmich is great but not ideal 6 as Bayern would have played him there. He’s better at RB but we don’t need that, we need a back up RB. We need to focus our attentions on signings we NEED like a CM to partner Rice and a winger back up to Saka as the main priorities.

I think this would be a poor signing, very short term compared to the rest of the team and would impact the team in over 3 years time and diminishing money on sell. I think looking elsewhere is better for a younger (22-25) to suit the rest of the young squad
Still would have 5 good years left in him it’s not a player you bring in to resell later it would be an experienced guy with plenty of quality and leadership you need these types of players as well as young guys in the team 🤝
@@thegoonerfactory surely we have that in Odegaard, who is well beyond his years, Jorghino. I understand bringing in an experienced player but if he’s not gunna serve a purpose besides being experienced and benefitting us for 2 years then why not bring in a stronger option like Onana who has great upsides, as one example.
