definitely loved all of the goodlock feature explanations... and using wireless dex is going to change my life lol.. having the tablet be still useful as a tablet, while Samsung Dex is controlling and projecting on the tv wirelessly is amazing..

I really like your detailed insights, and content quality! I still think the regular s7 is the sweet spot as for the size.
I really like the Dux Ducis cover for my S7+. Only £21 on amazon (I saw it for £19 somewhere else but I forgot). Anyway it's so perfectly built. Perfect satisfying slot to push your s pen into, and a cutout to push it out. And you have a magnetic stand to set it up standing horizontally or vertically. Or even a tent configurative way to face up towards you laying flat but giving a decent drawing experience (but I prefer it without the tent setup lol). It looks really nice too, I got the blue one and its quite sleek and cleanly built too. 100% recommend. It can be a pain to clean if you get a stain on it though, so be careful lol. Maybe a bit of vanish powder would get that out, but I'm too lazy.
I really enjoyed the detail but I found myself having to pause and rewind a lot as you spoke and did things super quickly 🤪

Watching this on my tab s4. This is literally to date my best technology purchase i just love this tablet so much that i think one day i will get the s7 plus for the 120hz everything else is ok for me

@@TKBay I think the price is a bit steep atm i bought mine with the keyboard case and LTE variant for £250 they keep on updating it which i am very surprised about. All the goodlock features which you showed i am using and yes i saw it in someones video and that how i found out. Multitasking is just so good even with this 4gb never really had any issues with it. I just changed my volume control to the side just like you showed in the video. Thumbs up for that
Imo the Galaxy tab s7+ is better than the ipad pro 12.9 finally. Though it doesn't have the better aspect ratio and the keyboard case is lackluster unlike the magic keyboard. If the tab had a magic keyboard, there would be no contest outside of apps imo. Samsung dex is pretty awesome.

I got Fine lock in my tab s7+ after asking another reviewer about the multistar app and how it make it work, literally stumbled upon it cause she only mentioned multistar... i cant believe i just found that out after having android phones forever lol... that thing is a must have. Multitasking with IG and Netflix is the best. i definetly need to look for more info in all these apps caused they make the user experience so much better, specially in the tablet.

Quick tutorial on how to get Good Lock working on your Samsung device, no matter where you live.
Do you live in the US, UK, South-Korea, Singapore, Canada or Australia? Then you can download it from the Galaxy Store without problems.
If you don't live there, you can do the following:
Install Windscribe VPN (not sponsored whatever)
Clear cache and data for the Galaxy Store.
Power off your device, and remove your sim card.
Power your phone back on.
Connect to "Dallas Ranch" in Windscribe VPN.
Open the Galaxy Store, and search for Good Lock.
Install and open. You see different features in the list. Download these as well.
You can now put your sim card back in and start configuring Good Lock.
You've given me some help that I've been needing to do with that button Bixby/Power. I've been trying to find some way of changing it to a power button

One possible mistake: this device outputs actual DisplayPort, I think it might not work with those old MHL adaptors.

Thank you for the Good Lock tips. I like the default UI and did not want to install a custom launcher on my Note Ultra but missed the smaller grids for apps. I'll try this app on the Tab 7+ when I get it as well ;=)

Some android apps specially newspaper apps and Information apps open in portrait mode only. It will never auto rotate to landscape mode just like a laptop. So what is the use of these book cases?

Just a heads up, Good Lock actually available on certain countries only. Well thrs some other apps to replace Good Lock, but there might be security issues.

For the call and text feature, what devices support this feature. I have z fold 2 and it's not supported. Also,which carrier's have this option. I have Verizon and they don't support it. Do you need a separate data plan for this feature? As always, great videos TK!!!

What do you mean by saying that dark mode won't make a difference on the S7 because it has an LCD panel? Dark mode still turns the menus etc. dark even on an LCD panel regardless of the technology.

@3:29 there is a option to turn on call & text on other devices I have the tab S7 plus 5G (T_Mobile) and I don't see that option or feature. Any tips?
I noticed that as well, I have t-mobile and returned the first tab s7 because it didn't have it and the second one came and it does not it either. I'm pretty pissed 😤 I upgraded from the tab s6 and used it all the time. I even talked to samsung tech support and the said it should be there and to return the tab back to t-mobile. Well I did that and now this one does not have it either now what. Samsung needs to help us out it is as simple as sending out a patch to fix this.
I almost bought one from t-mobile but saw 2 reviews that had this same issue. Since it has its own phone line, calls to your actual phone won't be forwarded. You can call/text with wifi version. I just ordered the s7+ wifi from best buy. Will be here Tuesday. I'm excited :)

It's a carrier locked option. I don't believe Verizon and AT&T have it.

Whats up TK. I have the tmobile version of this and they don't have the calls and text other devices option. Are you aware of an apk specifically for this tablet to install that option
I have the same problem I'm typing this on my second tab s7 because the first one sent didn't have the call and text feature and now this one does not have it and I'm pretty pissed. I even called Samsung with the first one and they said it should be there and to return it. Well I did that and the second one came and no feature, now what.
All carrier version tab s7 have this feature disabled by their carriers so that customers can get Tmobile digits plan paying extra for the tablet monthly. Only wifi version have this feature by default

*TK, you're legend!* -- I see you have 2x ultrawide monitors... Does Dex support 5120x1440, 3840x1600, 3840x1200, or anything higher than the lastgen 3440x1440? You probably have the monitors to test it! Does Dex support 120hz if the monitor supports it? (Samsung support has no idea what I'm talking about ~)

sadly no, needs to be connected to the tab for that
The s pen doesn't need to be charged to write, tap, or scroll. Only needs charge for s pen gestures.

I just purchased this tab S7, in my country the cover keyboard comes in box. The pen charges on the tab itself it has a magnet that holds the pen there
