Beautiful testimony! I was deep in the new age for about 15 yrs. I thought I found the truth, but like you, I noticed my spirit felt darker. I became isolated, constantly feeling the need to do shadow work, and even found it difficult to laugh and enjoy things. I recently accepted Jesus and instantly felt peace and joy. I'm so thankful he saved me out of darkness 🙏🏾 ❤

Now that I become a follower of Jesus it's easy to understand your happiness, because I'm feeling the same. But before I accepted Him, it was hard, I asked myself, What are they talking about? Who is this loving Jesus? Why am I not able to feel the same as them? But once you accept Him, He change everything. As it is written in John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that belive on His name."
I appreciate this novel story… most of these testimonies involve young adults coming into new age… never heard an experience of someone being born into this religion. Thanks 🙏

Same thing! NEW Age Aka law of attraction is EXHAUSTING! I didn’t know I was in new age until recently. I thought law of attraction was innocent like so many others but then I was like this is SELFISH! It also puts all of the work on you. My brain would be FRIED after my check list and laundry list of things to do and say to get this or that outcome! I JUST thank God for Jesus! He’s so sweet and makes life so simple! God is AMAZING! So good. One thing God has shown me is that even visualization must be submitted to the one and only glorious Christ. I think it can be a trap when we think that if we just spend enough time in the word, enough in prayer, enough in worship, we will be spirot filled and full of joy. In a sense this is true because as we do those things we forget about our Christian "disciplines" and eventually end up j7st thinking about him, his mercy, his power, his magnificence, and as a result we are humbled to realize that He alone brings us into his presence, not any affluence of diligent meditation on our part. Paul said the we should walk out our salvation with fear and trembling knowing that it is God who works in us "both to will and to do his good pleasures". In other words it is God who changes our desires, leading to a change in our works, not our works leading to a change in our desires. God is merciful and he designed, prayer, the word, and worship, to lead us out of self actualization, but he always intended for us to one day recognize that it is his power alone we rely upon, and lay down the crown of spiritual discipline at his feet.
I can see the light of Jesus shining through you ❤

I knew( after i started listening to christian death metal) tha tthe emptiness in humans heart should be filled by Jesus.

The pride of life, the lust of the flesh, these things come from us and our fallen nature. I can agree that the spirit world is far more pervasive than any of us can really discern, but pride and prideful thoughts, intentions, and maneuvers, which we barely detect in our interactions, come from us. That's the flesh! It's an important distinction bc it's not something you can just scatter like the devil but must be changed from above. similar experience with my Muslim faith, I was so heavily into new age and I thought it was the truth, then I found my truth in Allah and following the Quran (where Jesus Christ is a very honored figure)

@@AMcDub0708 the divinity of Jesus was a process that started developing since the first century until it was finally agreed upon in the third century when the canonical Gospels were chosen and officialized, Jesus was a prophet, he was born from a virgin, that was God's miracle that he doesn't need anything but utter a word to make anything happen. Jesus never claimed he was God or the son of God, the changes that appeared in the gospels afterwards needed to claim this image to suit a certain narrative the church fathers (mainly Paul) agreed on. My question is thus: if Jesus was Divine, why for example, an important document like The Epistle Of James forgot to mention that? and why too, The Gospel of Mark is so different from the Gospel of John?

I agree with you mostly, I'm an ex new ager too. But emptying your mind is NOT inviting demon's in. Who told you that? That's ridiculous. There are some people that just naturally have no inner monologue and think a lot more instictually sort of like animals. When we relax our minds naturally quiet down and relieved of thoughts. It's like the physical equivalent of saying "gotta keep moving or someone's gonna shoot me!" lol, no. It's okay to relax. It's healthy to relax.
I've had experiences with the dark side. The only way to invite demon's into your life is through rituals and chanting. Demon's still have to get God's permission to show up in our lives. God gave us free will and made these things require physical actions and words to show true willingness before he allows that kind of evil to show up in your life.

Apparently, you can invite spirits in when you clear your thoughts over a long period of time. Some say siprit guides other says demons
@Neesha242 a "spirit guide" is a demon. We have Guardian Angels. There is a specific Guardian Angel prayer in Catholicism.

@@Neesha242 Where are you getting this information? And how long are you talking about? I know people who don't really have thoughts. Like I said in my other comment, internal monologue or thoughts isn't as common as you'd think. 50-60% of people don't have thoughts. Their minds are just peaceful empty spaces that just react more instinctually without words in the mind. Mindfulness teaches people to be like this and just experience the present moment, but others are just naturally like that, I know them, they are great people and have never had problems with demons or anything like that. I'm sure you know plenty too.
Satan wants us to believe things that cause us fear and anxiety. The truth will set you free of all fear and anxiety. Everything in this world is based around will and intention. If you willingly pray to Jesus and ask for his protection with a good heart, he will give you that protection and demons can never come into your life...UNLESS you willingly invite them in, or are tricked into performing rituals, certain meditations, or letting someone perform rituals on you. But that all shows willingness. Relaxing and emptying your mind shows no willingness of such sort. It's simply just relaxing and it's a natural state of the human mind.
Also on watching this video again, I have to say I think this woman is just making her story up. Her story is very generic, she refers to "new age" as a religion like she joined some religion called new age but it's not a religion and I have a hard time believing anyone who was ever involved with it would ever refer to it as a religion.
@@paladinmatt1697 I read a book called law of attraction and it said that and the lady said it took her 9 months to get a hold of a spirit guide. I’m not sure if it’s real or not. I want to meditate in silence because sometimes I need a break from my thoughts. Our minds are empty, but it’s also not empty . I don’t want to get in contact with any spirit guides because that will confuse me and I’m not on that level spirituality. I don’t do all that other stuff to invite them in. True idk about her story, but some people get the wrong idea and turn spirituality, new age, old age wisdom whatever you want to call it into religion. “So when someone says spirituality is about "this and this, and this..." He's describing another religion formed around it, when in fact, its about being free of all of them.”

This is the first video I’ve seen of yours. Did you grow up in a cult? I had no idea the new age had youth groups and such, that’s why it seems kind of cultish. But I’m also reading Guinevere Turners memoir about her cult childhood so maybe I’m drawing incorrect conclusions 😅

No they aren’t. It doesn’t make sense to me. I think the issue with her is that she started the so called new age movement at a young age. Her mind wasn’t fully mature and it’s honestly a lot to comprehend at a young age. She also never experienced Christianity for herself. She’s curious and trying to find her way like everyone.
