The GH humility is not genuine. That's why you will hear "please good morning" from the same person who will receive full payment to make your dress. A few days later, that person will assure you over the phone that the dress is ready for pick up, only to arrive at the shop and realize they hadn't even cut the material. We deserve the politicians we get o! I hear some voters even kick-out a 'good' MP just bcos the person did not attend f-u-n-e-r-a-ls. If the motive is not mainly for the donation, why would they be upset over that? They don't see the big picture, it's mainly about "how can I benefit from the MP"? (as opposed to the common good).

Exactly the point, well said. The whole mentality is myopic: how can I personally benefit from the MP. This is why delegates will vote for who offers them the largest amount of money as opposed to whose ideas will change the nation in the long run
