I’m not on Twitter but I feel like the hate the group is getting is slowly dying. The song definitely grows on you and you cannot deny the power of their live performances. The live vocals, the charisma, the facials, the dancing they are soooo impressive as a rookie group. I think they’re going to be huge.

I didn't like the song the first time I heard it but after I watched the dance practice and heard the song without the pause I started to like it. It's on my spotify list now.

Shes very very good. Her moves are sharp and gracious when it's needed. Tbh every single one of them looks very good at everything.

This is the kind of song that will eventually grew up on you. One point, it's all abt preferences but the biggest problems are the toxic fandoms and it's true.

I'm intimated by this group, they're so good at dancing, their vocals are clean, and I personally love love love this debut song. Idk if there's an official term for it in the Kpop community, but I'd say that they're a group stan wrecker. It's kind of like a bias wrecker but you know... A group?

idk man, for some reason i don't get all the hate they received. To me the song is very unique and the producers, the choreographer and the girls did an amazing job. Even with the heavy instrumentals we are able to hear their vocals very clearly, it sounds fun, the moves are fresh, the formations are well done and smart. Same thing with TANK, the sound and the choreo isn't something we usually see in kpop and the fact that they feel confortable to sing live is very refreshing. I tend to stan groups who sing live even if that means voice cracks or heavy breathing into the mic. Stray Kids is another group who sings live a lot of the times and change the cadence of the songs. A lot of people gave BTS a side eye in the begining, and that made me respect the boys, and i'll do the same with NMIXX, because I know they are extremelly talented and are persuing their dreams.
So sorry to hear the emotional tension in your voice when having to address the topic of negative fan reactions. I've never seen you be anything but open, positive, and accepting. I wish that being a positive person and giving to others could somehow insulate you from at least that kind of negativity, and regret that it hasn't. All the best.

I think the dance can really improve
a song. I feel like k-pop is a lot like theatre/ musicals in that sense, it's not just about What, and How they sing, it's about how they move too.
With Twice's More&More, I wasn't the biggest fan of the song at first, but after watching the dance practice, and seeing the moves associated with the parts of the song, I really started to like it more,.
And it's the same with this song for me. I liked the sound more after each listen, but seeing the dance practice, and the moves associated really made me like it a lot more.
At first I thought the move from the pop/rocky bit was a bit jarring, but in the practice it's so cool the the switch happens Exactly when they hit the floor.
I think people might have been more favourable to the song if their Mv was basically just a performance video (sort of like Mafia in the morning).
Anyway, it's always cool to hear your thoughts Thina, and I hope you're less stressed now. 💜

I was very excited for this dance practice and it did not disappoint! I love watching Thina's reaction to the dance practices because she always points out something awesome I didn't notice before. Now I like the dance practice even more! (Also, if you're having trouble pausing at the exact right moment, you can use the , and . keys to move forward and backward one frame at a time on CZcams.)

I enjoyed the song first listen, second listen even more, their live performances blew me away and loved it even more. The choreography also blew me away. I can definitely say Lily is my bias all the way for this group already, my eyes always look for her and my ears look forward to her powerful and passionate vocals. I’m just tired of people telling other people what they should and shouldn’t like cuz they don’t like it. Like no, I fucking enjoy the song very much and that’s that. Ain’t got nothing to do with anyone else. These girls pull the song off so damn well and I’m looking forward to their future!

It's interesting to me because you can definitely see similarities in the style and certain moves, but they're so good at making the choreo truly fit the song.

I've never really been a "fan" of all these fan wars. At first, that's what swayed me away from kpop in general because it apparently spreads all over all types of media and, as an outsider looking in, it kinda pushes a narrative on the kpop industry that wasn't very enticing. I'm with Thina here. What's the point of fan wars when we're all just here to appreciate the music, efforts, and well-being of these wonderful artists?

I would've never noticed the cycle thing if you hadn't mentionned it. It goes even beyond the eye move, leg move then back bend. We then go back to a linked formation and then a bounce into the move thing. I knew the choreo was awesome, but that takes it to a whole other level
