Sergeant Voight continues to grieve following his son's death. Detective Lindsay tries to keep quiet her knowledge of what happened between Voight and Justin's killer, and an internal investigation by the Chicago Police is conducted. Meanwhile, the Intelligence unit investigates an arson case which later turns to murder, and Officer Burgess meets her new partner Julie Tay (guest star Li Jun Li).

They should have shot the tyres so they would not have gotten away
Last time I checked if the car is already moving, shooting the tires does nothing more than slow it down, seen a car chase in my town go down for 10 mins after the tires were shot, and the perp didn't stop because of that, but because a shot went through his windshield at some point and he got scared and stopped (long story short: he didn't have a drivers license and was a pizza delivery guy who used boss's car and a policeman wanted to turn him over but he sped off). Also actual chase lasted for a total of 45 mins if any1 interested.
(yes, paperwork took a little over half an hour to be made so that the police were allowed to shoot at the """"criminal"""".

-_ RazvaNavzar _- this isnt gta, so you cannot drive stabally using thin metal tires so they would easily spin out around corners and would be extremely slowed down and the traction from the road to wheels doesnt have enough friction to be able to move the car
