The most impressive thing about morissette, i think is the insane quality of her tone in every single performance. She has that truly amazing gift, to connect to your soul when she sing. Hi Jez! When you watch a Mori music video, always click on the "CC" (closed captions) for subtitles in English. "Usahay" is a classic Bisaya (a local Filipino dialect spoken in Mori's home province of Cebu) love song. The guy in the white shirt harmonizing with her is the videographer... and her boyfriend, Dave Lamar! You've probably already seen Dave on some of Mori's other music videos. Mori and Dave are reportedly working on some new original songs; hoping to hear those soon!

Usahay-( uu- sa- hi), is a Visayan ballad song, ( being a cebuana from cebu herself❤️❤️❤️🎶👍👌
She sang Henry Mancini's 1961composition " Moonriver" for the movie "Breakfast at Tifanny" and sung by Audrey Hepburn. It was mashed up with a Visayan Classic " USAHAY" which was composed by Police Col Greg Labja in the 1950s for his wife when he courted her, Noemi was a school majorette, whom he waited until she graduated until she became a lawyer. Col. Labja is from Sibonga, Cebu (Morissette's hometown) but, settled in Pantukan Davao del Norte with his wife Noemi Ortega. NEXT PLS. Hi Jez love your reaction. Did you notice the riff she played on the word 'RIVER' at 3:24 of the first ending of 'Moon River"? At 6:07 of the second ending of the song she shifted the riff on the word 'MOON'. Oh Mori, whence comes such inventiveness and creativity?
