That's why it says on the side to smack the valve. It says verbatim If unit fails to prime, the inlet ball may be stuck. Tap lightly on the valve or use a probe (see graphics, right).

hey that thing next to the suction hose you didn't know what it does. Its there to knock your ball loose, give it a little whack with a hammer next time it gets stuck.
How do you fix on this same machine the prime valve hose connector broke off at base, also thx for your helpfull video
I had a video on this but I deleted it, basically use a pice if garden hose it’s easy, just make a short garden hose and screw it in, it’s exactly same thread
But you never had to fix prime hose connector ? Mine broke at the thread
To prevent that from sticking you’re supposed to use some kind of oil like mineral oil after each use and storage.
I lost this ball. Do you know the size? I think it is meytric as I tried some US size ball bearings

Wagner has it's own cleaning solution which should stay in the pump, so that it can't stick inside and also is a rust prevention. Please check your manual for this. Then you should not have this kind of trouble.

Dude, no offense but you talk way too much. When I’m sitting on a job site trying to figure out why my paint sprayer isn’t working, listening to a video that’s 5% important information and 95% totally negligible chatter, it’s rather irritating. I appreciate the guidance but next time, could you maybe put out a “meat and potatoes version of this video, as well, please? That would be awesome.
