Take Bohtan before Persia take them(and on that note) take Persia while you are at it. Late game Persia has a lot of oil

Mostly historical, anyway. Trying to reclaim the borders of the Ottoman Empire at its height.

Why leave bohtan? It's free land since they only have like 3 brigades of cav
Couldn’t afford to lose the prestige
If you lowered the army thingy in national stockpile it would lower your spending. The way it works is like in eu4 where you lower the army spending it just lowers the morale or organization in this case
But it also makes your military significantly weaker and can actually entice the AI to attack. You almost never want to lower military spending in Victoria 2

Prestige is absolutely vital in Victoria 2, the land really isn’t worth much.

You should have taken the original deal, as it would have made the puppeted area even smaller, lowering the scope of the rebels.
But then we wouldn’t have annexed Egypt? Which was kinda the point?

Robbe Sppiliers Good nation to start as as a beginner is the United States, since they have great start to expand and sphere the entirety of the entirety of the Americas as a Great Power. I suggest watching anyone else in regard to a tutorial, since AdrianGaming here is using a mod that changes a lot of things, so only a few things stay the same. Watch some other videos of people playing as the US so you can get a feel for the game.
