Hi, quick question.. when you use shiprocket, does the bill come as a PDF after you click on "generate order now" on the app? Or do you have to personally make a different bill and print it out to stick it on the package?

Ma'am, I am starting my own small business and had some more questions. After you select FedEx, what are the charges that need to be paid? and also, do you pay them or does the customer pay shipping charges?
Hii Tamanna, Apologize for replying late... 1.Once I selected FedEx, the charges are according to parcels weight and pincode..so I paid Rs. 70 I think so.. The money get deducted from the Shiprocket wallet, which you need to refill. 2.Customer can pay if you opt for COD option. I haven't tried yet COD, becoz of some other reasons..but I will do as soon as possible. For COD you have to connect your bank account so that the money once paid by customer will get transferred within 3-4 days. Thanks for commenting dear.
Parcel ka weight, measure using scale length, breath, height..then Shiprocket ka rate Calculator mai ap details enter karo, destination pincode n all. Apko weight display hoga. Remember this is volumetric weight. So normal weight and volumetric weight mai difference hota hai.

Thanks for asking this question. No., shiprocket doesn't have a cash option they have a wallet that you need to refill and pay from that. Hi Yuvraj, I am very happy you found my video so helpful. 1) Shipping Price is not mentioned in Bill. There is a process of Calculation of shipping cost. It is calculated before bill generation... As you saw in the video.. I have mentioned all the details regarding the parcel like pincode(sender, receiver), length, width, height (dimensions) of the parcel...soo they get approx volume or weight of the parcel. for example my box is 10cm × 10cm×10cm soo the approx weight is around 250gms. So they have their own calculation. My shipping cost within Mumbai is suppose Rs. 35. But it differes with courier services you select. You will see the list. 2) Yes I take prepaid orders...Like via Gpay, Acc no. transfer etc and mark as prepaid. I hope I am able to clear your doubts.

First of all thanks for reaching out with your questions So I have been using shiprocket since September 2020 and have shipped 13 parcels till now and have not faced any issues till now. And secondly for kyc I have done kyc as a individual with aadhar otp, as the handmade business I run is not that big and not registered yet. Absolutely 💯 I will reply you.. While setting up account create as Individual and not any company. I have taken Lite plan .You will have to submit just KYC that is Addhar card, Pan card, refill your ShipRocket wallet. That's it. Even I don't know about cin number etc. I am just a paper artist and I too not a registered company yet. Thank you for appreciation.

Hello! I am sending a dry fruit based food product for the first time to another state from delhi. I am using shiprocket for the first time. I had a few queries. I wanted to ship two individual boxes of the same item. I dont have a bigger box to pack both in. Is it possible to tape the two boxes together to make a single unit? I have printed the label and stuck it outside the box. I am confused if the manifest printout has to be with us after the courier person signs it or do we give it to him only?
Yes Shipping Charges. Prepaid and COD is the product charge whether its prepaid..( out side Shiprocket) or COD whether total amount need be paid while delivery and they will trqnfer the amount to seller via connecting bank.
Ma'am,even if we don't type and printout,we can write the details on the paper-name of the taker,their address,tracking ID. Order ID not necessary to write or???
They sent the message on email and said(on the phone call)that I have to print out what is there on the email but how(since they don't clearify it on details for me to understand or get it)??? @TK Mix Channel Hey, You have to take printout of (Bill) Label & Manifest. The reason is : 1) It contains all the details of Client and Sender. 2) It contains the BARCODE. It is system Generated...so off course we can't draw or write with hands. 3) It contains the AWB no. & shipment details. So basically the Barcode is scanned by the machine, by the pickup person🙂. So written bill you can't put up on parcel. I download each and every thing from Shiprocket site itself. No need of any mail and all. It is not like India Post, write addresses with pen. Here we are responsible for Selecting courier service and generating pickup. So everything is generated on Shiprocket site only. Don't worry, you have got the point..but I hope I have cleared your confusion. One more detailed video is coming up. Stay tuned😊

Hii Ritiksha, Take print of label( bill) and Manifest. Bill address is the address of your customer. Mention your product cost. Whatever is Shipping cost, tell your customer, add to product cost and final amount will be paid to you via gpay or acc transfer if you opt for Prepaid. For example Product cost is Rs. 2000 and at the time of booking the parcel shipping is Rs.150. So tell final cost to your customer Rs. 2150..Done Kindly check my latest video...I have shown live booking etc of the parcel including the prints. Thank you for commenting.

Hi Amruta, your are correct..the cost which you see while booking parcel is the only charge you need to pay and gets deducted from the wallet. No charges to pay to anyone(pickup person). Hii Pooja, I am a startup, a Paper Artist and I ship my product via them since Sep 2020. So you don't need to be registered. While creating account and doing KYC go for Individual and not Company. For Individual PAN card and Addhar card is sufficient for KYC and you can ship your parcel. Thanks a lot. I am soo happy to read your comment 🙂
Hi, I think you are talking about manifest. Its acknowledgement, which is given to the pickup person. He signs and gives us back. Its like a proof that we have submitted the parcel. Keep it with you till the parcel reaches the destination. This is mandatory documeny. Invoice is the document which is to be kept inside the parcel. This is not that compulsary document.

Hi Boxes Packaging shop se buy kar sakte hai plastic orbcorrugated, try amazon for buying boxes. 2nd Aisa option hai ki Shiprocket boxes provide karte hai, uski process thodi alag hai. Maine kabhi try nahi ki hai. My suggestion agar apka ka 1st time hai Shiprocket use karke book n ship karna, toh use ur boxes, experience lo aur process ko samajlo. Phir try next step.

The price you saw, is the price of my product without shipping...As you have to fillup the details of Unit price and total quantity...That is compulsory field..But if you don't want to show exact price..then you can mention random number, but its good to mention exact amount...(another case if its gift then) The Shipping charges you might have seen in next screen 47rs. via FedEx..so these 47 rs is deducted from my Shiprocket Wallet(Shipping charge of FedEx). And the Wallet needs to be recharged if needed. See what we mention the charge of our price, totally depends on us. But Shipping charges toh pay karna hoga na😊. 47 rs mere Wallet se deduct hue.

Hi Joy, one best idea which apply while booking parcel, as even I dont have printer..i book the parcel after 6-7 pm.. Pickup next day hi hoga..so I generate pickup and download everything..get them printed by same night and keep my box ready for shipping..Next day when pickup person calls, my parcel is ready.

Hii Nikhat Khan, Barcode is generated by the System. When you book the parcel and select the couier services the label is generated. So in that barcode is generated...Barcode is same for Label, Manifest and Invoice.

Hey Ayushi, yes that's another thing which I will be looking at. I will be trying and making a video on this topic COD too. But after some research, I got to know that they(xyz courier company)transfers money to your bank acc which takes 7-8 working days.

Hi Soni, Billing or Label is provided via Shiprocket site only..Generate Label is your label to be stuck on parcel..apko uski print leni hogi... Shiprocket wallet hota hai...refill kar na hota hai..jo bhi courier charges honge woh amount wallet is cut hongi. No other charges.
Yup, you have to create individual account, minimum wallet is 500rs. Upload your addhar and PAN card details for address purpose and proof. And start booking and shipping. Once you fillup the wallet, just ship your parcel thru which ever courier company you opt for, the amount of shipping will be deducted thru ur wallet. Trust me since 2020 i am using and till date I preferred this only.
Hii, print out is compulsory. They have a "Barcode" on bill and manifest, which they scan for the details. Even I dont have printer at home, so I get printed from outside.

Yes, currently they have to pay shipping charges too. My business is just a startup so free shipping is not possible. Ma'am, I am starting my own small business and had some more questions. After you select FedEx, what are the charges that need to be paid? and also, do you pay them or does the customer pay shipping charges?

1.Once I selected FedEx, the charges are according to parcels weight and pincode..so I paid Rs. 70 I think so.. The money get deducted from the Shiprocket wallet, which you need to refill.
2.Customer can pay if you opt for COD option. I haven't tried yet COD, becoz of some other reasons..but I will do as soon as possible. For COD you have to connect your bank account so that the money once paid by customer will get transferred within 3-4 days.

ka rate Calculator mai ap details enter karo, destination pincode n all. Apko weight display hoga. Remember this is volumetric weight. So normal weight and volumetric weight mai difference hota hai.

Thanks for asking this question. No., shiprocket doesn't have a cash option they have a wallet that you need to refill and pay from that. In my opinion, this is better because you get the option to choose from different services providers and pay beforehand so you have pre recipe for the payment in the system itself

1) Shipping Price is not mentioned in Bill. There is a process of Calculation of shipping cost. It is calculated before bill generation...
As you saw in the video.. I have mentioned all the details regarding the parcel like pincode(sender, receiver), length, width, height (dimensions) of the parcel...soo they get approx volume or weight of the parcel. for example my box is 10cm × 10cm×10cm soo the approx weight is around 250gms. So they have their own calculation. My shipping cost within Mumbai is suppose Rs. 35. But it differes with courier services you select. You will see the list.
2) Yes I take prepaid orders...Like via Gpay, Acc no. transfer etc and mark as prepaid.
I hope I am able to clear your doubts.

And secondly for kyc I have done kyc as a individual with aadhar otp, as the handmade business I run is not that big and not registered yet.

Hello! I am sending a dry fruit based food product for the first time to another state from delhi. I am using shiprocket for the first time. I had a few queries. I wanted to ship two individual boxes of the same item. I dont have a bigger box to pack both in. Is it possible to tape the two boxes together to make a single unit? I have printed the label and stuck it outside the box. I am confused if the manifest printout has to be with us after the courier person signs it or do we give it to him only?

Yes Shipping Charges. Prepaid and COD is the product charge whether its prepaid..( out side Shiprocket) or COD whether total amount need be paid while delivery and they will trqnfer the amount to seller via connecting bank.

@TK Mix Channel Hey, You have to take printout of (Bill) Label & Manifest. The reason is :
1) It contains all the details of Client and Sender.
2) It contains the BARCODE. It is system Generated...so off course we can't draw or write with hands.
3) It contains the AWB no. & shipment details.
So basically the Barcode is scanned by the machine, by the pickup person🙂. So written bill you can't put up on parcel.
I download each and every thing from Shiprocket site itself. No need of any mail and all.
It is not like India Post, write addresses with pen. Here we are responsible for Selecting courier service and generating pickup. So everything is generated on Shiprocket site only.
Don't worry, you have got the point..but I hope I have cleared your confusion. One more detailed video is coming up. Stay tuned😊

Hii Ritiksha, Take print of label( bill) and Manifest. Bill address is the address of your customer. Mention your product cost. Whatever is Shipping cost, tell your customer, add to product cost and final amount will be paid to you via gpay or acc transfer if you opt for Prepaid. For example Product cost is Rs. 2000 and at the time of booking the parcel shipping is Rs.150. So tell final cost to your customer Rs. 2150..Done

Hey Aryan, Those papers are downloadable from Shiprocket itself, I didn't make them. Once you book the parcel and move next, you can see options like Download Label and Further Download Manifest.

Hii Pooja, I am a startup, a Paper Artist and I ship my product via them since Sep 2020. So you don't need to be registered. While creating account and doing KYC go for Individual and not Company. For Individual PAN card and Addhar card is sufficient for KYC and you can ship your parcel. Thanks a lot. I am soo happy to read your comment 🙂

Hi, I think you are talking about manifest. Its acknowledgement, which is given to the pickup person. He signs and gives us back. Its like a proof that we have submitted the parcel. Keep it with you till the parcel reaches the destination. This is mandatory documeny.
Invoice is the document which is to be kept inside the parcel. This is not that compulsary document.

Hi Boxes Packaging shop se buy kar sakte hai plastic orbcorrugated, try amazon for buying boxes. 2nd Aisa option hai ki Shiprocket boxes provide karte hai, uski process thodi alag hai. Maine kabhi try nahi ki hai. My suggestion agar apka ka 1st time hai Shiprocket use karke book n ship karna, toh use ur boxes, experience lo aur process ko samajlo. Phir try next step.

Hey Usha, thanks a lot. I am happy to know that you got actual value from my video. The price you saw, is the price of my product without shipping...As you have to fillup the details of Unit price and total quantity...That is compulsory field..But if you don't want to show exact price..then you can mention random number, but its good to mention exact amount...(another case if its gift then)
The Shipping charges you might have seen in next screen 47rs. via FedEx..so these 47 rs is deducted from my Shiprocket Wallet(Shipping charge of FedEx). And the Wallet needs to be recharged if needed.
See what we mention the charge of our price, totally depends on us. But Shipping charges toh pay karna hoga na😊. 47 rs mere Wallet se deduct hue.

Hi Joy, one best idea which apply while booking parcel, as even I dont have printer..i book the parcel after 6-7 pm..
Pickup next day hi hoga..so I generate pickup and download everything..get them printed by same night and keep my box ready for shipping..Next day when pickup person calls, my parcel is ready.

Hii Nikhat Khan, Barcode is generated by the System. When you book the parcel and select the couier services the label is generated. So in that barcode is generated...Barcode is same for Label, Manifest and Invoice.

Manifest is a acknowlegement, which we have to submit to the delivery person. He signs and gives back. Its like a receipt. Keep it till the parcel is delivered.

Yup, you have to create individual account, minimum wallet is 500rs. Upload your addhar and PAN card details for address purpose and proof. And start booking and shipping. Once you fillup the wallet, just ship your parcel thru which ever courier company you opt for, the amount of shipping will be deducted thru ur wallet. Trust me since 2020 i am using and till date I preferred this only.
