  • From Classic bicycle to Gravel !!! - 1st episode -
Today I bring you the first episode, from classic bicycle to gravel. It is a Peliser bicycle which is going to be modified to fit 11v wheels with brake discs.
I had several parts that I changed from the bikes that I normally use both on the road and in the mountains and I decided to use them. I have also bought the pieces that I was missing, I put all the pieces used in this video:
    -Shimano slx cranks.
    -Shimano disc brakes.
    -Rims giant pr2.
    -Conduct giant system.
    -WTB 700x 35c tires.
    -Shimano 105 handles.
    -Giant connect power.
    -Deda zero handlebar.
    -Pinion 11 v (11-42).
It's quite a challenge for me, since I don't have much experience in welding either, I just hope you like it.
I hope you continue watching the videos and if you like them, give them a like, subscribe and activate the bell to not miss anything.
I keep working to give you the best of me and to improve myself both in mechanics and in videos.
You can also follow me on facebook, instagram.
    Greetings to all ; )

    De bicicleta clásica a gravel !!! - 1er episodio -

Wow all these comments are annoying, this is going to be a sweet build and I can't wait to see the finished product. I guess these guys just don't know how overbuilt steel frames are, and don't get the drive to create even with the knowledge that there is a chance of failure. Also to anyone saying that there's going to be a catastrophic failure, the steel might bend a little at most so it very likely won't cause a crash and won't be a safety concern.

Cool project, looking forward to seeing the finished bike 👌🏼👍🏼 I'm guessing many of these negative comments are from roadies who have never taken a steel bike offroad. These frames can handle years of abuse, this has been proven in Africa for many years 👍🏼

@@dabrestauracion7404 Claro. Eso he hecho.

Hello!! I am annealing, it means that I am changing the properties of the steel somewhat, since when you heat and cool slowly, the steel behaves more elasticly, than if it were tempered, where it would be more rigid and brittle. I think that to go through roads of recording this will not be a problem, although with time I will know heheh I hope not to leave my teeth on any of these roads hehehehe. I’m no expert but I don’t think thru axles are designed to clamp tight enough to secure the wheel in a slotted dropout - they are made from aluminium. And cutting the fork to bend it back to clear the front rotor, again not an expert but I’m guessing you just massively reduced the strength. I hope you know a good dentist and plastic surgeon.

Agree to disagree. That's a steel frame and can take a lot of abuse even though the tubes are thinner than modern ones. While I wouldn't take it mountain biking, it should be more than enough to handle gravel roads.

This bike was really easy to assemble czcams.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

The changes are compatible thanks to the Tampan SH11 part (road lever to Mtb ratio converter) that I place before the rear derailleur, since the road and mtb components do not have the same gear ratios. This piece helps the ratio be the same. A greeting and thanks for comment; )

Hello!!! The only thing that I want them to install is the road levers and I have these hydraulic brake calipers that will be removed from the mtb bike that I ride and for me with some good discs they are great. But thanks for telling me, I have it in mind, the zooms are very beautiful ; )
