This man had an entire season in one half

That's a terrible season.
Anybody who has 12 receptions and 215 yards is a season is not a good wide receiver.
Fun fact. He hasn’t fumbled one time in college. He might be slim but he’s definitely not weak. Especially considering he’s often in the slot going across the middle

Devonta top 10 greatest college players of all time , the list of accomplishments is crazy. But 2 National Championships, Natty MVP, game winning catch freshman year. Gotta talk about it
He whack bruh
Never really thought about it but yeah a heisman from wr spot is already insane but the game winning catch in the championship and natty mvp definitely puts him up there
...A degree, top 5 draft grade, owns pretty much every school and conference receiving record. For sure, gotta be one of, if not the most accomplished careers in college football history. In recent times I think only Tebow comes close.
@@Jeremy-pb5xk the only thing that hurts him is that he didn't start until junior year
@@lucasnogueira1137 may not be his fault, he was our best receiver last year while Jeudy & Ruggs will still here. Just didn’t get recognition. Had like a 5 TD game last year and still put in work freshman and sophomore year. Played behind some First Round NFL receivers too
One of the best playcalling I've seen in a while. The way they move Smith around to create a speed mismatch before the play even starts is amazing.

He won't be a number one receiver in the NFL. Guys are stronger, technically better, and faster. In order for him to excel he's going to have to have a true number 1 threat at the other wide receiver spot and a tight end that you have to account for.

I truly do not even think he was running all out on a lot of those plays lmao crazy
Reminds me a lot of JERRY RICE. Not saying he will have that type of career, but he makes the spectacular look routine. Smith's highlights aren't insane like a Jaylen Waddle's are, but Smith really makes it look easy.
Yep...those of us who grew up watching Jerry can definitely see the resemblance. Both of their game speeds we're on a another level than anyone else on the field. The hands, smooth route running, acceleration after the catch is all Jerry like.

How about jerry rice 😀
He reminds me of Hopkins.
This was a clinic on how to get the ball in your best receiver’s hands. Pre snap motion like crazy. OSU NEEDS to use this to get the ball in Marvin Harrison Jr’s hands this week against Michigan.

ROLL TIDE!! 😁😁
OSU DC: He already has 180+, so let’s try putting a linebacker on him

So weird that Waddle went first. I guess teams really want that burner, but Smith does everything at such a high level. Natural hands catcher, great extension, body control, feet, route running, IQ/zone awareness. I like Waddle, but I thought it was Smith/Chase>Waddle for sure, as far as draft order.
Waddle was actually leading Bama that same yr in rec yards and touchdowns b4 he got hurt. Had smithy got hurt, waddle would of put up similar numbers or possibly higher. So teams saw his potential

He had enough left in he tank to play another game lol he's smart and fast, just crazy talent
Congrats to Bama! As a OSU fan yeah this sucks. But we lost to one of the best teams I have ever seen. They deserved this game way more then us and played harder. Good luck next year.
