- Yesterday, the JAK Signal Burst Kit was released for the Holger 556 and DM56 in Modern Warfare III and today, I wanted to share a full breakdown of this 4 round burst conversion as well as my best setups for this kit for each gun. What are your thoughts on this new kit in MWIII?

For those of you hoping this would be the rebirth of the M8A1 from Black Ops II, it is not.
Don't know why it's so hard for them to make a good conversion kit. I mean they already put you down an attachment slot and combine that with the absurd downsides that seemingly every conversion has and most are garbage.
I mostly use the after market parts in zombies. The Pulmyeot bullpup kit slaps in zombies and the Akimbo uzis are pretty much the number 1 weapon in Zombies.
Burst guns in general are never really that good so this after market lost points there BUTTTT this conversion kit takes 1 attachment slot BUTT you get a free sight and a laser with it so it’s like 3 attachments in one plus the other 4 you get so if they continue to do after market this way they can be good but they also have to make sure they’re not OP
The Pulyemot one is really good
It's not hard. In the beta the conversion kits were absolutely insane. They nerfed them all for release, but they do know how to make them.

wow i didn't realize it was usable on two different guns, still a bit unfortunate that the kit is pretty underwhelming, i was trying to make it work but it really feels like its not worth the effort
The pistol conversions are by far my favorite kits so far. I’m disappointed that I can not use the Tyr rifle conversion for some reason.

I play almost exclusively hardcore so it seems like it'll turn the DM56 in to a beast for HC, one shot kill at any range and 4 bullets instead of one

The laser is built into the barrel of the conversion kit and not the sight. Just a small fix about the information in the video.

If they had just made it look like an XM8 a lot of players would have used it regardless of how good it is, because there is a faction of players who love the XM8.

I would like to let you know Ace that the Laser is actually built into the Underbarrel part of the conversion kit. If you look under the Muzzle area, the small black circle is where the Laser comes from.
I appreciate the call-back to BLOPS 2, since it had an XM8 with a 4-round-burst and the G36 is a direct descendant.
The full-mag reload on the JAK Signal for the DM56 also seems to have a noticeable delay before the game registers the reload versus the animation finishing, which is frustrating.

They need to make more barrels like the mwc long barrel. The fact that it doesn't hurt ads is crazy and every assault rifle should have an option like that
used the DM56 kit on vondel, i just wanted to see how it would go
Kills pretty quickly but it takes sniper ammo and recoil is really hard to build with, saw some success with some of the vertical grips

its not great nor bad, pretty okay, which im fine with, still very interesting and fun to use
Aftermarket parts are pretty fun, but i wish i could use the damn revolver conversion kit
Ooh a really accurate build of this on the dm56 would be beautiful in hardcore. I used the FAMAS/FR 5.56 (noticing a pattern?) back in 2019 on hardcore simply because my build had an insane ads time and that combined with the bullet velocity & higher firerate/ttk meant that even if they saw me first I usually still got the kill.

I know this is a multiplayer based cod channel but if you play warzone the jak headhunter upgrade for the scorpion smg (forgot the in game name but that’s the real life firearm it’s modeled after) turns it into an AR which a really fast auto-3 round burst. Next to no recoil and you can delete people really fast with it. Shines best in resurgence on the smaller maps but can be just as good in regular zone if you use a 50rd drum mag with range and velocity boosting attachments
So I worked out that with the kit on in semi-auto, the max fire rate is ~767rpm, which gives a max ttk of 235ms in MP, but obviously well beyond what humans are capable of doing with their finger.
The recoil is actually super easy to manage when it's in full auto as well. You can just invest heavily into horizontal recoil and firing aim stability and it feels extremely straight.
Was just so happy to be done with the marksman rifles

You should try changing the tac-stance toggle button to R3. It really helps me quickly switch to tac stance in combat.
I use R3 for crouch/prone. My thoughts are that adding the vertical movement to a quick button over tac stance is better for more situations
With the ridiculous bullet velocity you could probably use low grain for a good recoil reduction with no downsides

I didn’t try the DM 56 yet but will, lots not great but feels rewarding when it works like it wasn’t pure luck but skiled lol

Since shooting long range isn't very good neway, using the low grain rounds might be a pretty good idea imo
I wish they would make an aftermarket part that was actually worth using. So far I haven't used any that have come out this season.
Did anyone ever get the Tyr Jak unit to install? I unlocked it, but it doesn’t show as available.
I'd advise using the H-556 version in semi-auto, due to having a 750 rpm burst it also translates to having a 750 rpm in semi auto, which means a generally better firerate and likely better controllability, so it turns out pretty well in that way, I'd say.

I noticed you still have the ability to swap to semi auto on the dm56. I know this isn’t a warezone channel but with that bullet velocity the dm56 with the conversion kit in semi automatic might be hit-scan.
Hopefully move onto the marksman rifles next favourite guns in the game with the core 45 pistol your basically set for any gun fight at any range
Pairing a built-in scope with a built-in tac-stance/hipfire laser is such a weird choice. It feels like their intention was to make it really good as a medium/long range weapon with the downside of a slow ADS so you have to use tac-stance/hipfire for close quarters, except the recoil makes it way too tricky for long range and you can make a better tac-stance/hipfire build with the base gun, so it fails at both. I tried forever to make good setups with these kits yesterday and eventually gave up. At the very least this could've been one of those parts with zero idle sway but it doesn't even have that going for it. So disappointing.
Why not put the “bruen heavy support grip” on it? That helps a lot with recoil.
I used the exact same attachments, and this thing still sucked. So I built a tac stance build and that didn't help all that much either. I'm guessing that as long as you keep to close engagements then you'll be possibly ok but that's about it.
Yo, is the Tyr conversion kit glitches out or not in the game yet. It clearly say "attachment collect" and "1 out of 1" for the conversion kit, but it's not there.

Ace anyone can see where the laser comes from. i used it aamd noticed that laser being completely visible
The laser is not on the sight but the barrel which you cant change so even if you switch the scope the laser is still there unless you out your own laser on it. Maybe
Can't change laser without using the aftermarket sights anyways. and with an aftermarket sight with a laser on it, that also disables the laser category, so you either have a blue laser not visible to players, or a green laser, very visible to players.
SHG cannot balance burst rifles to save their life. They are either really OP or really underpowered. Argurably the only balanced burst rifles they have had in CoD are the M16 in this game (which was ported from MW2) and maybe Vanguard's AS44 with the burst barrel
Imr was pretty good in AW with the ARX. IMR was one of my favorite weapons on there.
The dg in this game feels good after the balancing, imo

@@biggestman123 depending on who you ask, IMR was argurably OP in AW (though i dont necessarily agree with that), especially with certain variants like the Impact or Boar Strike. Meanwhile the ARX was either trash (base and most variants) or completely OP (Hole Puncher and Steel Bite)
@@Rafstrike_e no not the amr9 smg my friend haha that was pretty bad. The IMR! Its elite version was the boarstrike. It was a 4 round burst assault rifle that could print its own ammo in the reserve mag. Basically made it so you didn’t need scavenger. Very cool weapon.

Honestly feels like most of these aftermarket parts aren’t that great. So far the Renetti, flamethrower, PKM, and WSP Akimbo seem like the only viable ones.
Cor 45 binary trigger is awesome as well and well worth it. Best secondary in the game in my option. Wsp-9 and MCW 6.8 conversion are useable as well but nothing special.

Felt Like pre-buff M16 from MW2 to be honest, that burst delay thats holding this AMP for me, but i still gonna use it anyway.
I just checked it wout with another optic and it turns out that the dot is coming from the frame itself, not the optic it comes with.

This conversion kit makes me think these setups are basically challenge guns for certain challenges like the last weekly for this season.

It does. Was messing around with it last night. If your able to get that horizontal recoil pattern down, I find this good. Was having fun with it
Tested in the firing range, it still needs the same amount of bullets as when not using the Kit, so not worth it!

@@FOS_Sven never trust the firing range, its nutoriously always had some issue or another. the in game actual stats from gunsmith is what you wanna look at or otherwise hand test it propperly.
Ace, what is the TTK if you mix in a headshot to get a 3 shot kill on the dm56 with the mod? I’d imagine with the initial kick up, you can get that headshot often to where it makes the gun really good, maybe close to 200 ms?
3 shot kill at 750 rpm means a 160 ms TTK.
We have rof, damage and player health, so we can do the maths

It’s so weird the way they’re going about this, like they don’t want to upset the meta at all with new guns/kits, just leads to everyone using the same 2/3 guns every game
On paper, this had me raising my eyebrows with the 240ms TTK... but it's so inconsistent on getting that one-burst kill, you might as well consider it a 435ms TTK gun. Pretty bad.
Ive been tinkering with this gun..i feel like if u focus more on gun kick control u can get it to literally map people (tested on scrapyard, estate, and afghan) i dont know how good the grouping is but at least the recoil is manageable. If u could confirm this id appreciate it ace. I really want this gun to work lol. Maybe in time theyll buff the timing. Unfortunately i haven't found a combo that works with a silencer without giving up the recoil control.

Wait a second, so it's 750 rpm in the burst, so 1000 ms/(750 rpm/60 s) which gives us 80 ms. Since we pull the trigger, we don't count the first bullet, so 3*80 = 240 ms, as stated in the video. However at longer ranges we have to factor the burst delay of 115 ms, since we can't 1 burst kill. After the burst delay we pull the trigger again, so wouldn't it be 240+115=355 ms instead of 435 ms? Correct me if I am wrong...
The burst delay doesn't start until after the firetime from the 4th shot is applied
Yep, that was correct at the time. The new burst delay is 120ms so now it kills in 320ms

Welp, I'll be stopping the challenge grind for this kit.
Honestly it would be cool if the devs could give COD pros like you preview access to these attachment kits to get feedback before releasing it to the public to avoid releasing bad kits like this.
I really hope they drastically reduce the recoil on it. If it's a reliable 1 burst within it's range and you can afford to put a suppressor on it(especially the range increasing one) etc it could be an incredibly fun setup. But as it stands right now it's borderline unplayable.

@TheXclusiveAce You do not think that the Signal Burst Kits are here to foreshadow the M8 adoption in Black Ops 2, right? Since Modern Warfare and Black Ops share the same universe ...
The M8 is based on the XM8, a prototype that was meant to replace (spoiler: it didn't) the G36 (or the Holger in MWIII). So considering the XM8 platform was supposed to be a direct evolution of the G36 platform, it makes sense that an aftermarket part functionning (and looking) like the M8 applies to the Holger.
So it is as much a reference to BO2 as it is a reference to actual real life.

Probably more intended for Warzone with a bipod. and I feel like that's a good trade. Having a special mod for gun or two be only good for BR is much better than having an entire weapon needed for mastery be designed for one game mode. Burst weapons are usually more defensive weapons that can do what full auto dose in close range.

Becareful with the laser, unlike MWII, in MWIII your laser will be visible through a thermal optic regardless It is or not visible in normal situations. And due to thermal optics' nature, the laser lines is very obvious to the user. I can see enemy lasers 15m away from the place they're actually aiming at, while I found that's an invisible laser when I un ads.

Wait... 240ms plus 115ms would have the 5th bullet come out at 355ms wouldn't it? It's not like it adds another 80ms delay like between each bullet.
You do have to add the firetime after the 4th shot before the delay begins
Every kit that effects recoil, makes recoil near impossible to control. Aftermarket parts should not be OP, but they should be interesting and, importantly, useful. Most are just horrible. The sight (forgot the name) is pretty good if you don't mind the laser, it obstructs the view too much for me.
Enemies seeing a laser dot isn't a problem unless, perhaps, you're up against pros who seem to see and instantly react to everything.
Kinda sad that the aftermarket parts are among the worst, when not the worst, in the game. :/
When I get it, I'll try this kit with the DM56. Very unlikely I'll use it in more than one match.

Lasers and intergrated Lasers give away position and direction, so I never use them.
Burst delay needs to be reduced by 35ms, and the recoil needs to be lessened aswell. Burst guns r my fav n I was so excited to see a new burst gun and was hoping it had good 1 burst potential which this does but it lacks too much in other areas, these are lmgs so they have bad mobility, which should be made up for in other areas. Combined with a attachment slot being used up for the conversion this really does suck.

Maybe a hot take, but I'm so annoyed by how similar all the gun names are. It's like every other gun has another gun with a similar name and I can't keep track. I was like, "which Holger is this? Wait is the dm56 that other burst gun I'm confused?" Yeah it takes 5 seconds to figure out but it's still confusing. I miss the old cods where it was very clear which gun was which based on not only names, but appearance too. Everything feels so similar in this game.
The reason the gun names are similar is because they are from the same platform of guns for example The Holger 556 is an AR, the Holger 26 is an LMG and the Holger DM56 is DMR if anything it's pretty straightforward and not confusing.

Its a shame its so bad because i think the 4 burst guns in the black ops games (specifically the M8 guns in BO2-3) have been some of the coolest and most fun in series history.
I REALLY like the 2 round burst AN94 , whatever they’ve named it. The first assault rifle. In semi auto, it always fires 2 round bursts, and there’s essentially no delay between shots, so you can do impressive long range AND short range work with the same build, just leaving it in semi auto and hitting 2 shots every trigger pull at a rate of fire you’d get with a regular marksman rifle
